The covers are being removed. About half of the ground is now uncovered, and the super sopper is on the job

Due to the condition, atmosphere and less tear on pitch (as reduced), 3 pacer and a spinner is better option

Which three pacers? :))

The only good pacer in the team is Wahab Riaz. Our other options are Junaid 'Trundler' Khan, and Ehsan 'Unfit' Adil.

Really missing someone like Rahat for tests. I would be all for playing 3 pacers, if we actually had good pacers available. We don't really have much of a choice other than 2 pacers and 2 spinners.
 
This is a gone test match. Just scrap this series. Or move to UAE. Wastage of time and resources.

Why the hell do they schedule series in Sri Lanka at this time of the year? :facepalm:
Sri Lanka is a rainy place, and they are scheduling games in the rain monsoon season. What kind of logic is this?
If they were playing at this time of the year, they should have scheduled all games in Dambulla (dry place I believe).

He's not great, perhaps better than Junaid looking at recent form. Point is that they are all mediocre apart from Wahab. Pace attack would have been a lot stronger with Rahat in the mix. Can't wait till Amir is back. First choice pacers would be Amir, Wahab, Rahat, and Ehsan.

By the way, dont rely too much on Amir as he is no more same and will need time.

He'd be better than what we have now even if he's half the bowler he was. I understand he will take some time, but I reckon we will see him sometime next year, after one season of FC cricket.

just shake hands already. its a drawn test before even the coin is flipped.

There should be some sort of rule that if certain number of sessions get washed out then the test can be called off. Why waste 5 days when you already know whats gonna happen.

If Broadcasters start demanding money back of reduced days, then you will see these boards become wise. They only care of money
 
We will have the toss at 11.30 and start of play at noon. Of course, provided there is no rain. Lunch will be taken at 1.15. Tea at 3.40. Play can go on till 5.45. Target for the day: 72 overs

Did you see it ? Man it's terrible Content and the Guy sound's rubbish...continuously Advertisement for 1 hour... with out any new contents... .it's more then harassment to watch on...........and there tagline............: Game on Hai... Does not sound good at all....

Really a poor decision to ball first. How can we survive against Herath in fourth session? SL need 50 overs to bowl us out in fourth innings. Hafeez should not play test (A walking wicket) and Junaid is no more effective in any format.

Wasn't official, umpire was signalling to the players that there was 1 delivery to go. Misunderstood that as a warning.
 
Misbah won the toss and field as Pakistan blessed with Hazlewood, Starc, JOhnson, Steyn, Anderson etc.

132 Kph Junaid and Wahab with no swing.
 
This match will probably end up being a draw. Another reason we should only play a short series in SL, too much rain or absolutely flat wickets.
 
Anyone remember asif in that 2006 kandy test under similar conditions, he just destroyed sri lankan batting single handedly inside two sessions for around 80 odd i guess, and now we have these two BS. And good for nothing .

Ordinary stuff with the new ball as usual, no movement at all, except for one or two deliveries nipping of the seam in 7 overs.

Bowling first wasn't a good decision. Yes the conditions are good for bowling, but we don't have Steyn, Boult, Starc, Anderson etc. to make the ball talk.

The Indian bowling attack is comfortably better than these no hopers.
No skill whatsoever
 
Fluke Watson spell was the worst thing to happen to Wahab. It has given him and people false perception of his abilities.
 
Pakistan chose to bowl first?

Why in the world would you want to face Herath on the last day pitch? Especially given Pakistans historical record against him!
