Why is khusdil Shah being treated like rashid Khan? He's a rubbish spinner yet from the scorecard it looks like he's some chuck ajmal?
 
Observations so far
* Shaheen continues to be wayward. He seems finished as an international cricketer Aamer yamin outbowled him
* Average bowlers exploited Shan's weakness outside off stump
*Babar Azam's footwork has been a lot more positive.
*Faisal Akram has bowled with good control. Pitch isn't offering much to him

He is quick off the surface which always a great ingredient for a proper pace bowler.

Everything aside. The pitch is so good for One Day Cricket. It has enough for everything. Plus good bounce and carry. Literally have been craving for a pitch like this in Pakistan for years.

Wait till the match finishes , pretty sure he will pickup some wickets and will cause trouble if he bowls in the death overs.
If he is hurrying Babar off the pitch then he will create a lot of problems when lesser batters trying to score quickly off him in the death overs.
 
Salman Butt provided excellent analysis during the commentary of the Lions vs. Stallions match in the Champions One Day Cup 2024. He observed that the bowlers are being impatient, as the pitch is challenging, making it difficult to achieve the ideal length, which is crucial for batting. Nevertheless, we've witnessed bowlers succeeding on both sides.

Time to up the ante now. They have a potentially bombastic lower order. These guys need to pick it up or let them bat.

But jokes aside, Babar looks alot fitter and no one commented on this, however he still doesn't have his 2016 physique, Needs to go back to it.
 
The problem with this game is that it's so boring.

The bowlers have no spice and the batsmen don't bat upto modern standards. Babar plays the exact same way throughout the entire innings never changing his approach.

Shan is such a boring batter to watch and Tayyab is just okay, I like tayyab but he isn't international material and saud + Kamran warrant > him atm.

And the 2 lower order bats are boring to watch.

If it wasn't for Abdul samad yesterday who masked the innings, Everyone is aiming for 260 to 280 and are living in the 1990's.

However in the 1990's, cricket was entertaining because the one ball made reverse swing super fun to watch, it was a spicy contest between bat and ball, Over here their genuinely zero intent. It's shameful really.

When will pakistan grow up to modern reality? Fakhar is the only batsmen who actually plays to modern standards. He takes his time at the beginning but goes bang bang once set.

Babar, Rizzu, Shan, Imam, Abdullah shafiq, and all these new lullei's are such boring and uninspiring batters.
 
Getting false hope seeing our batsmen hit trundlers like Amad and Yamin. You don't get such halwa bowling at international level
 
Why Talat just wants to run everything down third man?

He's superior in every way, and I'm glad he got the opportunity to captain.

A part of me is hoping he and Saud get to reach the final so that pcb doesn't get any ideas from shadab, Rizwan and Shaheen(yes even shaheen atm)
 
Haris is too loose with the bat. He can get away with it against domestic trundlers but he will always pay a price in internationals like he has done.
 
Aamir Jamal bowled this delivery way wide of the stumps, and it pitched and swung even further away from Yasir. But Yasir still went for it, throwing his bat at the ball. And then, the wicketkeeper Sajjad Ali Hashmi took this incredible diving catch to his right. Both Jamal and the keeper started celebrating, and the umpire gave Yasir out.

But here's the thing, when I took a closer look at the replay, I'm not even sure if the ball actually edged the bat! It looked like it sailed past the bat, with a pretty clear gap, before the keeper caught it. Still, Yasir just walked off without saying a word.

Did anyone else noticed it?

Shoaib Malik in his press conference identified jahandad as someone with good all round potential
 
I hope people aren't fooled by babar's innings.

So far in this tournament Tayyab, Kamran Ghulam, Abdul Samad, Muhammad haris all 4 have played better then these 2, and their not even mainstay.

Besides samad and Kamran Ghulam who I see have potential, Tayyab is mostly a donestic bully who's just a better version of chacha and haris while good is a keeper who can hit and not a specialist batter.

Please tell me why the best batters in the world in T20 CRICKET no more or less and are supposedly rated > Butler in icc rankings, Why are these 2 batting at lower SR's and have lower runs while dealing with domestic bowlers like amad butt then cricketers who aren't even mainstay in the team?
