It was so good to see Smith bat today. Pure class. He will be back to his number one spot by the end of this WC. I really like Kohli but Smith has always been better than him.

So, he will be a better batsman than himself.![]()
I have a feeling Wahab Riaz has something in store for him.
Smith and WC performances go hand in hand, hit 2 50s and a 100 in thr knockouts last time in the best knockout WC performances by a batsman that I can remember.
Smith is not tied to a format or tournament for performance - hes just a run making machine who is almost impossible to get out. Best batsman in the world for a reason. King Smith.
kohli is a choker, while smith is a player every team wants to be in their team in big matches

Not sure if srs but Smith played him like a club bowler in 2015 when Watson was struggling at other end
Irrespective of his performance in previous WC, I can't really categorize him among the excellent ODI bats. He can perform in big games but he is not a feared limited overs cricketer.
Another impactless innings played by him. Quite a few of his boundaries were through edges just like the one against WI. Besides, he hardly ever looked threatening. In this day and age of scores of 350-odd, he is a total misfit.Irrespective of his performance in previous WC, I can't really categorize him among the excellent ODI bats. Dangerous, only if RRR is within control. If it isn't, then he isn't of much use. This guy looks dangerous.... don't know how to get him out because of his batting style
With a RRR overs 9, that is true for every batsman of the Fab Four.Dangerous, only if RRR is within control. If it isn't, then he isn't of much use.
You've not seen enough of Kohli then. With a RRR overs 9, that is true for every batsman of the Fab Four.
