Stories of Jinn/Bhoot/Ghost - The paranormal experience

I have been married 5 years now. My wife and I moved into our new home after getting married and she would always complain about weird and horrific noises coming from our bathroom but she never noticed anything different when she would use it. I myself never noticed anything different either so I paid no attention to it. But she swore by it and continued to bring it up in our conversations from time to time.

well a few years later, when we had become real comfortable with each other, she would enter the bathroom when I am in there using it and needless to say.... she solved the mystery of the strange, horrifying, unusual sounds that had been haunting her for the last several years.

TRUE STORY!

So, what was it?

Are you sure you are not a serial killer who walks and kills in your sleep? Any reported unidentified murders in your locality?

You know my secret :O!! You must die now.....

Back to the topic:
No murders. Sharjah is quite a safe place.

This thread looks fit!!! :) Just wait people .. Just wait!!!.
Oh Pak VS SA is going on. I will write it after the game.

Let's see if it copies over correctly this time.

My first "encounter" was at age 10, as the Gulf War raged and Uncle Saddam lobbed the occasional Scud at us.

Towards the end of the war, when it was obvious things were winding down, I was able to get a couple of friends to stay overnight. Parents generally were wary of letting their kids stray too far from home earlier in the war.

Late at night, as the rest of the house slept, the three of us were lying in bed (respectfully apart of course) cracking jokes in whispers. I told what I thought was a particularly funny one, their tired laughs were joined by a third. Booming, menacing... ethereal.

I still get chills every time I think of it. It didn't sound anything like my parents. It wasn't the neighbors, because it was a detached house. It just didn't sound... human.

Next one is better.

My second experience. Age 15, winter of 1995-1996.

My grandmother was on her deathbed. A cat started appearing all of a sudden, usually in the living room. It would show up even if no doors were open. It's meows were almost mocking in nature, sounding almost like the wailing of a child. It was an ugly cat, with a dirty coat of black and white, and an almost menacing expression.

But here is the really shocking part. If someone started reciting something, it would disappear. Not run away, disappear. Vanish.

It reappeared a couple of times after my grandmother's death. Both times someone in the household fell seriously ill.

I'm not the sole witness to this. Everyone in the house saw it, and usually we were all sitting in the living room when it would appear. I think it effected me the most, because I could never stay at home alone afterwards. If I ever ended up being the only one at home, I used to linger in the garden near the front gate, ready to bolt.

Nights when I had to stay up and study were a nightmare. I could sense a presence, frequently turning around, but never finding anything. There were times when I wished whatever it was would show itself and get it over with. It never did of course.

Freaky. Makes it more freaky cuz you don't seem like the dude who would believe in this sort of stuff.

:O This can not be true. I think you are messing with people's minds here.:23:

How Tanvir manages to get himself selected over and over again is also kind of scary

Now I am going to post my story here. Guys dont make fun of it.

Well, don't let my political beliefs fool you. When it comes to folklore, the supernatural, the occult and eschatology etc I can be very orthodox ;)

I guess I have no way of convincing you since you weren't there. You only have my word. And like the boy who cried wolf, my antics on other threads do go against me.

But see it I did, and so did the rest of my family.

So this is it..

I was in high school, the right time to get into all other stuff other than studies. I had a cool circle of friends. Usually we came up with nice things to do, we found our own time by bunking classes and stuff, most of us would stay up at my place on Friday nights planning for a night study, we would sleep on my terrace-a nice spacious one.

One night only Vikrant and I stayed up as the others were very tired after a day of masti. Vikki is my best bud until date, and we also share the same frequencies on all stuff. He's a very bold guy who easily picks up fights.

We started studying at ten and closed our books before ten thirty, we were equally tired as the others and our bodies were craving for some rest. We lay down but after a while I woke up; I don't know why but I turned my face towards him and saw him sleeping with his face up. To my shock I found his body shaking vigorously and to add more to my shock I could see his head still on the pillow, but what was more was the confusion that set within me. His head seemed to look as if it has been nailed down to the pillow whereas his body just kept shaking. I put up some guts to wake him up but had a slight thought of it being a prank.

Anyways in this state I didn't want to worsen the situation so I tried closing my eyes. I fell asleep in a few seconds. The sight of his body shaking was continuously running in my mind, after an hour or so I woke up again. But this time I wanted to know if he was ok but I had an in gut feeling that was asking me not to turn.

I just turned my face towards him and saw him sleeping normally; before I could take a deep breath and relax, I saw his body shake again. This time I wasn't scared much but I was confused of not knowing what is happening. As I was continuing to watch this, his body was being thrown up and down slightly like it was defying gravity. What confused me the most is his head which didn't move even an inch.

After looking at this I got frightened so much that I got goose bumps all over my body, the hair on my neck stood ninety degrees. This was the first time in my life that I was so frightened. I still don't know if I fell asleep or if I had a blackout because I lost my consciousness after that.

I actually thank God that I did black out or sleep after that because I can't imagine what I would have done if I was conscious after seeing such a sight of something getting out of my friend's body.

The misery is that this wasn't over. In a while I felt someone trying to wake me up, but it was Vikki who was doing this, his face was very frightened and he asked me if we could go down and sleep.

Although I was equally frightened too, I wasn't a coward to run downstairs and I have always been a guy who wants to know more and more. The truth is that my curiosity dominates my fear that made me tell him to relax and sleep.

I actually lost sleep after he woke me up and I was thinking of what was bothering him. I knew that it wasn't the right time for me to ask him anything. Before I could come into any conclusion he tried to wake me up again. I asked him what his problem was and he said that he saw something move here and there on the terrace.

After this word I knew that there was some serious problem. I instantly suggested we would shift our positions and we went into the centre of our terrace. After getting the mat laid and the moment I slept I felt something was seated very close to my head, watching me. This feeling haunted me for a couple of minutes and suddenly Vikki worriedly said that he senses something here and even has a feeling that someone is watching him.

The second he uttered the same feeling I sensed I knew that it is not advisable to stay there longer and we got down and slept in my hall. The next morning we woke up but as my parents were there, he didn't talk about the incident and neither did I. He rushed back home. For the next one week he was seriously ill. Though we are the closest buds until date he never stepped onto my terrace after that incident.

The symptoms seems like a classic case of sleep paralysis which you were lucky enough to watch. It often happens while sleeping on your back. Your feelings of someone being there might just have been from anxiety.

Wouldn't think the body would move with sleep paralysis though.

It might when you are fighting hard to move it but don't have complete muscle control yet as your brain is half asleep. I am just guessing though

It was gravity defying. My friend's legs were in the air. His back was in the air. Only his head was not

Never seen one but i hope i see one so i could ask it that if they are real or not.

Anyone obsessed with the supernatural will be well advised to get hold of Munir Niazi's collected works. Plentiful references to the paranormal, both explicit and implied.

I've always felt that he captures our particular cultural/religious flavor of the supernatural. Not for us are the vampires and ghosts and goblins of Western lore, romanticized and even glamorized (and consequently sanitized and defanged) by Hollywood and Halloween.

Niazi claimed to have seen Jinn, and felt the presence of pichal pairees. He was an odd mix, that man, ready to quote the Quran yet also an alcoholic who was quick to chastise people for praying all the time.

His works are perfect for winter evenings by the gas heater, while draped in your favorite shawl and sipping tea. A wood fire and coffee ruins the effect, be warned.

Any of his work translated to English? My brother reads his stuff. I can read urdu but it would take me a year extra to get through it all.

True Incident of Jinnat that happened to me

This happened to me when i was 19 years old, living in Karachi, was probably the worst year of my life. So A-level exams were getting close and preparations started and i took way more stress, i was stupid started cramming up all the stuff didn't sleep well that night, anyways next day i had a chem exam and i was positive that i was gonna have a really bad exam. Unfortunately my centre was DA Degree women college next to White cemetery(**** Kaburastan). So the things about Jinnat are they can detect stress in any human being. My stupidity was that i did not even took a shower that morning so i was not in the state of Wudu or anything. Anyway i went to the assigned room , and during the paper i was trembling literally was about to pass out. I felt this strange entity not letting me do my paper, my hands were freezing cold. Anyway exam finished, it was my last exam and 3 months holidays were ahead of me and yet i had no feeling of being happy or excited. I went to bed that night and couldn't sleep, at some point i notice i was talking to myself. But i wasn't talking to myself but to this Ghost who was a british man. He use to tell me about himself every night and i use to ignore him, i use to think i was just in crazy stress and that it is all coming out in the form of me talking to myself. Anyway one night i told my mom i don't want to sleep in my room. Mom agreed that i can sleep on the mattress in her room. So again i was not able to sleep that night, however in the middle of the night i got angry and told him i don't want to talk to you, and that if he speaks to me again i will tell my parents about him. This made him angry and he slapped me on my face. I freaked out and immediately started saying to mom ' Ammi Ammi'
My mom gets freaked out pretty fast she was like 'What happened? What happened?'
I told her ' Ammi yeh mujhe jaan se mar de ga' Before this i never had a ghost experience in my life so this freaked me out to like crazy level. I was almost crying and then it happened he literally took control over my vocal cords and i screamed like a ****ing exorcist 'NOOOOOOOOOO' it was like HULK screaming literally my whole voice echoed in the room (as i have heard what jinnat do is make you perform such activity that make you lose surplus amounts of energy, hence making you weak and sleepy) and my mom got very scared. Anyway my dad was trying to get my mind off this so he was constantly saying to me 'Its just a stress of the past exams have some hot milk' he told my mom to make me some hot milk.
My dad believed in this stuff because it is in Quran but never had an encounter so he didn't give much importance to it. My mom was a firm believer because in my mom's family side, i have a lot of cousins that have encountered things like these. So my mom kept on asking me question, who is he, where did you meet him, how long has he been with you and i also to keep my mind off it kept on saying its just stress mom and also i was saying stuff to mom in URDU so that whoever he is doesn't understand me. I prayed fajr with my dad trembling and cold. My dad asked me to sleep on his spot next to mom. My mom was reciting Quran in my ear and suddenly i got such a bad fever i couldn't even move due to this weight on my back then chest. My dad went straight with driver to get a goat for slaughter of sadaqah. I couldn't sleep either, and i could say like 2 or 3 words to my mom every half an hour. My dad got a black goat to his room he asked me to touch it, i patted him with my weak, cold, trembling hand and then he took it out into garage for slaughter. After the goat was slaughter i felt a bit relieved but still i could sense something around me but weaker. So my dad told now you can get up and take a shower. I took a shower, i could still hear him screaming in my ear while i was walking or taking shower. Every night i would go to sleep in my mom's room and when ever i would try to sleep i would feel this intense current in my feet rising towards my upper body which would eventually wake me up. Good part was he stopped talking to me, but worst was i was in deep agonising pain. I use to feel slaps on my face, pinching on my skin and my legs would go sleep like the moment i was on bed or sitting on sofa. my dad bought me xbox to keep my mind off things, but the moment i would start to concentrate on game i was get current impulses in my feet like crazy and pinching on my elbow. This continued for days i was in transition state of sleep, like getting up every ten minutes. All he was trying to do was not let me sleep so that i can lose my will power completely. My mom couldn't see me in this state and told this to mamu, he came straight to my home and told me to get in the car, he is taking me someplace for colleges and Univ admissions. He used that as to not let the ghost know that he was taking me to some well known Pir. This guy was located in a mosque far far away from karachi and surrounding him were people with jin problems. He ask me 'what is wrong' i told him ' i can't sleep and gets pinches, slaps and electrical impulses in my arms, legs and entire body' He told me to shake his hand, so he was holding my one hand and other hand on my heart. He gave something to mamu for me to watch every night while it burns. It was something that would kill him that is what that was basically for. Anyway that night i started doing that amal and the moment i did started watching that chits on fire. All the pain in the body that was already there tripled like 10 times, i could tell he(ghost) didn't like it what i was doing but again i wanted to get better. But this was killing me that pinching, slaps, and pain got more intense and more worse. My sleepless nights continued he was trying to suffocate me every night and parents were right next to me, i could see tears in my mom's eyes. This continued for a month i went to two other Pir. But again they couldn't help me. Then my khalo came across this angel send by Allah to protect me and relieve me from this pain.
Maulana Lahori Sahab this guy talked to me on the phone said this verse and i felt lightness, but it went away after a while. Maulana Lahori Sahab was coming from Lahore to see me. His flight was in like 3 hours and i think somehow Jinnat managed to find that out, and i started hearing Azaan in my ears. I told my mom and she got sick worried she called my Khalo who was supposed to pick up Maulana, but then he was coming for me to take me with him and see Maulana for himself before its too late. Finally he landed in Karachi, we picked him up, was a humorous guy as well he was like dw we will find a nice Jinni for this one so that he will go away i giggled. He arrived at our home, he hold my hand and said close your eyes. He said some verse and said' whoever you're what is your name and what do you want' i was a bit frightened but there was silence and i was a bit strong so there was no way this ghost was gonna talk through me. He then told his partner stand a wall between me and him. The moment he said a verse for that everything was light and calm for me those pinching, slaps and pain was gone. Still not completely because jinnat leave their assrat which cause minor pain but they go away after a while, which they did. The worst parts of being in possession was the pain and that i use to get angry on small petty things and also i had a really strong strength so took down my brother who is bigger then me on many occasions.

Alhamdulillah Life couldn't be better after that. We want on a family vacation for two weeks to China and after we were back turns out, before leaving that ******* invited all the other jinnats to torment me because i was stressed and so there was this female jinni who was into me and then it all started happening again this time it was different i could feel someone having sex with me in the middle of the night and whenever i got up next morning you know ejaculation. This happened first night and i thought it was just my hormones then started happening every night and i got worried told my mom. She contacted Maulana Lahori sahab and he said i have a Muslim Jinni crazy in love with me. Maulana sahab stayed at my home for 2 weeks and treated me by reading and blowing air to my face catching her in a bottle bits by bits. This happened for 2 weeks then i started feeling well and healthy, at last he made me throw through that bottle into the sea tightly closed. Couldn't be happier Allah saved me from all this torment i guess it was a lesson for me, he wanted me to be a 5 times namazi which i am now
ALHAMDULILLAH

To all those who read this please tell your parents immediately when you feel anything like this i didn't i waited too long and that's why it got worst. Don't hide anything like this from them it will save you from all the pain i went through. Trust me if was the worst year of my Life. I pray that none of this comes on any of you.

A lot of people from my family tell me that my great grandmother would teach Quran to Jinn and their children.

She'd be in the basement teaching them and when she'd say "next page" the open Quran books would turn the page.

Also, this is not a jinn story but one night travelling from Chakwal my aunt saw a white peackock. A white peacock. In Chakwal.

my mother told us that my grandmother's father was killed by some witch ( he saw a witch one night and then the next day he died and when he was given ghussal people saw the print of a hand on his body near the heart :13:

Long read. But worth it. Crazy

Also, this is not a jinn story but one night travelling from Chakwal my aunt saw a white peackock. A white peacock. In Chakwal.

I didn't get you putting stress on last two phrases. In Chakwal people do have peacocks and typically the female is white colored. The male is multicolored mainly bluish green.

Anyway on thread topic...I was in Pak few days ago where I came to know about 'ghost house' in our street. The current owner of the house after several years of issues, switched to a rented house and rented his own home without disclosing the problems they faced. His wife was all the time ill while they lived in their own house.

So for 3-4 different families who rented and lived in one or other portion of house (double story house) ran away not long after they moved in. Most recently during my vacations families in both portion left the house after sudden increase in ghostly events. The family living in ground floor claimed that one of their lady saw a woman and three kids all with their throats cut and blood dripping out.

In upper portion the wife used to hear walking sounds and doors moving but her husband turned these claims has mere 'wahem'. Couple of days before they ran away the husband himself heard loud banging of doors all at the same time. Not only that he saw all the doors and windows were wide opened. He was sure that he closed and locked the doors and windows. They didn't slept the rest of night and the next morning they left to their relative home some where in the city. Next day he came back to pick some stuff and his neighbor asked what was happening in your home last night. There was so much noise of doors banging. He replied how do I know, we were not at home last night as they stayed with their relatives else where.

I heard nothing more afterwards as these families use to come couple of times during the day to pick their belongings, leaving the house human-less during the nights. Will update this thread if I hear any further development in this case.

I pray that none of this comes on any of you.

holy smokes man that must have been one of an experience, and Im sure none of us are jealous of that. mahsAllah its great you have recovered Alhumdulillah.

In Chakwal.

Foreign agent peacock

Foreign agent peacock

Yeah. It was just beautiful apparently

And to the guy above (zimmz) it was roaming freely which made it special.

Apart from that what we have there are pheasants. Not peackos.

Any of his work translated to English? My brother reads his stuff. I can read urdu but it would take me a year extra to get through it all.

I'm sure it has been. Part of it anyhow. I'll see if I can dig up something online.

I've forgotten much of what I had memorized of his poetry. One couplet I remember is

Aaj ki raat bohut kaali hai
Soch ka deep jala ke dekho

From In Se Nain, probably the first song that brought Najam Shiraz any fame.

Wow ! I am dying to witness some paranormal activity around me, but it never happens.

Here is something my dad witnessed. He was in a hotel room, had a very realistic dream about a man warning him about staying away from the geyser. Next morning he left for the meeting, came back.. and found that the whole bathroom was full of smoke and all the wires had caught fire.
He later enquired if some guy got hurt in a similar accident before..it turned out that some guy last month got a severe electric shock from the geyser and had big fight with the hotel staff about this.

So, this made me wonder whether or not we leave something behind whenever we leave a place. So many of us get a feel about a place being haunted or this "something not right" feeling... Maybe past events do leave an imprint. :dav
It's still a coincidence for me, but makes me think.

Ofcourse they roam freely over large area...this is their way. I am from Chakwal so trust me there are couple of areas where peacocks are non-pet resident (read about the area called Kalar Kahar). Besides many people keep them as pet. Pheasants are as well kept as pet however they are actually native birds in wilderness of chakwal.

Maybe she was one of Sethi's little birds.

Even pet peacocks should be allowed to roam free. They are not comfortable in captivity.

If Nostalgic was a Jinn, he'd be a 3000 years old Ifrit running around to see the Marid aunties naked through the walls.

That reminds me of the doggerel we used to quote when someone, overwhelmed by nostalgia, would sigh and say "woh bhi kya din they." That sentence would be the trigger for:

Woh bhi kya din they
Jab hum Jinn they
Ab hum diyo hien
Jinnon ke bhi piyo hein

Or,

Woh bhi kya din they
Jab hum Jinn they
Woh bhi pari thee
Hum pe marri thee

Needless to say, I prefer the second version

Anyhow, on the topic of human-Jinn love, it is discussed at length in the epic Qissa Chahar Darwesh. A Jinni princess falls in love with a human, and her father opposes the match. My memory is hazy about what happens in the story afterwards.

Also, Maliki Fiqh is the sole Sunni school that allows human-Jinn marriage, as long as they're both Muslim. Rumor has it that such a marriage took place in Canada in recent times. Make what you will of this.

I was 'followed' though nothing freaky happened i could sense it constantly. I was the 'secondary' target as it was initally following my GF and harming her. I got in touch with the leader of a local mosque who told me to pray manzil every day, blow it on a cup of water, flick it around the house, on myself and drink the remaining water. Was told to do it for 1 month. Was gone after two weeks and i finished the month and no issues since.

My GF did have difficulty while trying to pray it but after the first few weeks it calmed down and also stopped for her too.

Alhamdulillah we are both fine now.

The advice was free which is great because i dont think anyone should be charged for the help.

What if the Jinn was agnostic but wanted to marry a muslim girl?

anyone done ouija board?

No, a good friend of mine did it, he is banned from ever coming to my house, because the day after he did it he was at my house. At 3:15 on the dot (not lying), while I was just sitting reading something, the lights just all went off, around the house, only my house because I looked outside and one family that seems to always leave their light on still had their normal routine for display, my mobile lost all network also. Was not really a pleasant experience for me and I have not even played Ouija board, although I did spend the entire night making fun of him for playing it and saying this crap does not exist.

It should convert for appearances' sake. As so often happens in human-human marriages when one partner isn't of the "right" faith.

I can just imagine the girl's parents: "You couldn't find a nice Maliki Jinn?!?!"

I should not have read these stories at night. I couldn't sleep so I thought I would come to time pass....definitely not sleeping now.

Like evil spirits at the witching hour, this thread rises again. Buhahahaha!

It's all quiet at my end. I'm able to work at night alone without detecting any presences, but I believe Saqs has had an encounter or two. Over to you mate.

Cheers Brother Nos.

1. Sleeping at night when my wife got up to feed my son. My son is 1.5 years old and every now and then sleeps on our bed. He likes twirling my hair while sleeping. So my back was towards the other side of the bed. Snoozing away. Wife comes back in. I hear the lamp go off.

Problem is - I didn't hear the lamp go on and was facing the other way so I didn't notice any discernible difference in the lighting of the room.

'Did you turn the lamp on? ' she asked.

We both just stared at it. She had apparently been trying to turn the lamp on numerous times earlier in the day but to no avail.

Later that night she has a dream in which she wakes up screaming from. Apparently she saw in her dream that there are three creatures standing besides the lamp discussing jtjat they will take her away from here.

2. Sleeping at night. Somewhere in the middle of the night I hear the bathroom door open, light goes on, flush is used, light goes off, bathroom door is closed.

I missed Fajr that morning and reminded my wife to wake me up if I don't the next day. She says' but you did wake up. I heard you go in the bathroom, flush the toilet, make wudu and come back'. I literally didn't wake up during the night at all and neither did she.

3. This happened to a friend. He saw an apparition. Started to recite some Surahs and Ayahs from the Quran. The apparition datasets reciting them back in a mocking tone. Pants were soiled that day.

Something of this sort has happened to me too, back in Pakistan in our house which I am convinced is haunted.

We had relatives from the US staying with us, and since they were jet lagged and I was preparing for my exams, we'd often be up together at night. Those were the days of giant desktop computers, no laptops, tablets or smartphones, and I had one of two desktops in the house. So my cousins would come over to my room at night and surf the net while I studied. It was fun.

One night, one of my cousins was heading to my room, and saw me head towards the kitchen. She called my name, and I turned my head and smiled and kept walking to the kitchen. When she got to my room, I was there at the desk, studying. And no, it wasn't possible for "me" to have gone to the kitchen and then come back to the room before she got there. For one thing, the kitchen door and my door were both within sight, on opposite sides of the lounge where she was. For another, I was usually too scared to go walking to the kitchen at night, and usually had water, tea and biscuits in my room. I certainly didn't step out of my room that night.

I would recommend changing accommodations if you're renting, since there's a child involved. If its family property that's another thing.

That's freaky. The turning around and smiling gave me the chills.

It's a family house. Brand new only like six months old so I doubt it would attract jinn.

In my house in Aus I had some strange occurrences. You know those things that happen that seem to have no explanation but also seem too trivial to cause any concern? Those things you don't speak of because if you actually tell others about them it makes them real?

It was one of those things. Plenty of times I have walked in the spare room to pray to see the Masallah has been turned upside down away from the Kaabah. I know my son wouldn't have done it cuz he was too young and didn't even crawl back then. Happened quite a few times. Then I saw a dream in which I am praying on that Masallah in that room and trying to scream out my dua but I'm hearing someone yell on a loudspeaker (as if it was some military personnel informing their comrades) that 'he's a trying to access the Divine, but we've blocked his path. We've blocked his path'

I never told anyone this before.

I just made it real.

When it comes to houses, I've come to the conclusion that my sixth sense is often very accurate at detecting these presences. Since I haven't bought a house here yet, I rent, which can be good and bad. Good because I can leave if necessary, bad because there's often a year's lease involved. What I do when I move to a new place is recite the "Manzil," which is a collection of verses for warding off such presences. After that, I politely ask whatever is there to leave, since we're going to he living there now. I periodically repeat the Manzil recitation every month or so. Funny isn't it, me, the guy who hasn't prayed in years, religiously (pardon the pun) reciting it. You may want to try it too. It should be available at most bookstores.

The house may be new, but we don't know what was there before it was built. Also it could lie on one of the paths they take. It could very well be that they leave after a while. I've read that they're known to do that: stay at a place for a while when they're on their way to somewhere else.

I had an episode that was the opposite of what you experienced. In my house back in Pakistan, I woke up and found I was reciting the Quran melodically. I didn't have the faintest idea what verses of what chapter they were. They certainly weren't ones I have memorized, since I hardly know more than the short chapters towards the end.

Hmm... I tend not to take these things as seriously as you do. Perhaps I should. But that would just make them more real.

That's amazing. One of my great grand-uncles used to have similar experiences. He was famous in the village for it. He would be awoken by some entity flipping his charpai over and taking him out to the field. In the field he would teach a bunch of children how to read Quran. He would also read Quran melodically in the middle of the night.

Funny thing is he was completely illiterate and could only read when under the influence of this entity. Was a very angelic entity I guess.

I recall a very ill loved one predicting he will be dead within a few weeks. I shared the same bedroom with him for a while, he'd tell me that he see's a little girl every night who he would talk to where as I did not see a thing. After his death some of his belongings went missing....some months later he appeared in my dreams to tell me where they were. Upon checking, his belongings were exactly where he told me.

I never had one.. but one of my best friend told me this story.. in Punjab they rented a room and every night they will hear noises. they had a old drawyer at a corner and two feets impression inside..they will clean it but the feets will appear again next day..every night they get drunk and sleep to avoid getting scared

Classic case of the Doppelganger aka the evil twin aka the ghostly double. There are many famous cases of people seeing someone's doubles. Sometimes, the people themselves see it. It is conjectured that the person himself projects the image sub-consciously. Maybe you were sub consciously thinking of going to the kitchen? There was a very famous case where a young girl was troubled by her doppelganger. Everyone used to see her everywhere all the time. Once she was teaching in a primary school and she stepped outside. She could see the class through the window. Suddenly she heard the class going completely quiet. When she looked in, she saw herself standing in front of the class, in a different dress which she had. One of the kids even walked up to her double and touched it and later said she felt like muslin. The young girl's life was one of tragedy and she got so fed up with the happenings that she committed suicide

This could be a thread in its own right: premonitions. I've seen several instances of relatives, grandparents included, hinting at their imminent demise. Usually though, and unlike in your example above, the hints are never explicit and only register after their deaths.

The dead appearing in dreams is another vast topic. There are tell-tale signs to look for, in their appearance and expressions etc, to gauge what their state is in the afterlife.

I never had one.. but one of my best friend told me this story.. in Punjab they rented a room and every night they will hear noises. they had a old drawyer at a corner and two feets impression inside..they will clean it but the feets will appear again next day..every night they get drunk and sleep to avoid getting scared

I've seen this too. In our case it was ink stains on the walls.

Interesting how, in the case of Pakistanis, the impulsive reaction is to turn to recitations and prayers, even for decadent sinners like myself. In your friend's case, it was to get drunk. :)

Fascinating. And scary of course. If I can project myself in that manner, maybe I have latent spiritual powers that I could look to harness?

Last year, after I had to leave my beloved Pennsylvania for Minnesota, I was really depressed, always thinking of PA. Suddenly I started getting emails from friends there that they had seen me in town but I hadn't responded when they called out to me.

In this case though, the doppelgänger was an actual person, an Arab guy who bore a striking resemblance to me. Everyone ended up meeting him in the end. But I was concerned for a few days.

Teaching little Jinn children has been observed many a times in the countryside. I believe Badsha mentioned something about an ancestor doing this.

Saqs, the wuzu thing reminded me of my best friend at University. Every Ramzan, he said, when the entire family was sitting down for Iftar, they could hear someone performing wuzu in their only bathroom. They checked a few times, but of course there was nothing there. They stopped checking after that, since whatever it was didn't bother them, and it was only at Iftar time in Ramzan.

Yes. My grandfathers mother I believe. Everyone in my family talks about is all I can say. They say the page of the Quran would also turn when she'd say next page or something

at first I laughed too and thought he was joking. but he was very serious and sweared on mother. I asked him why he didn't rented some other room he said they tried but in chandigarh they don't rent rooms to single guys. they had to live with it.

This is the greatest PP thread ever.
