This is a pandemic. The PCB didn't even manage to get Supersports on board pre pandemic but they have done this during a pandemic and scored a big deal with PTV during the pandemic as well. Not to mention the fact they have managed to bring commercial sponsors on board for the National T-20 cup, Quaid-e Azam Trophy, a few regional sides which according to the PCB has resulted in 55% more commercial revenue from domestic cricket compared to the prior year. All this during a pandemic.

Besides, one-off wins happen in cricket. However, more often than not, the better team prevails over a series.

If that is our level , and we are that bad then i will gladly celebrate these one off wins, obviously if we were on par with india , england etc then it would be a crime and i would gladly lament the fact that we have only won 1 ICC tournament in the last 5/10 years, but we are not. The fact is we are not on the level of these top sides so theres no point comparing us with india all the time, just to prove a point.

Ive supported Pakistan through the very limited good days right through the bad days, its part and parcel of team sport , not every team can be the best, and whilst i wouldn't say i am comfortable and satisfied with our current status, im not going to sit here and cry about it at every given opportunity because its not going to achieve anything.

Only thing i can do is sit here back the team and hope one day our fortunes change again, until then i can only enjoy these one off victories.

Sri Lanka was a top ODI side from 2011-15. I think they were ranked no.2 in ODI's in 2014 when they won Asia cup and T20 WC back to back. Pakistan did beat them in ODI series in 2011 and 2013 in the UAE during that period.

Man this is next level twisting, so winning five must win games on the bounce mean zilch in the biggest tournament of that sport just because we couldn't make it to next stage, there were many very minor things which if turned out differently Pak would have been in semis and in that red hit form anything was possible, it just wasn't meant to be, it wouldn't have been first or last time that luck played a part in helping or exiting a team from a tournament, we are average and mid table team but Man that WC revival was one for ages and i don't have any regrets now overall, it just wasn't meant to be, but Pakistani team can held its head high and you can cry as much as you can.

We already get every international series and T20 league.

I suspect what this means is they've acquired the right the broadcast their own stream, rather than simply purchase the incumbent's stream.
