Do you like or have any tattoos? I hate them! Can't see why people spoil their skin by having such silly things put on them. I think Islam disallows it as well.
 
Never got the point of them

I get why people are against them and that's fair, but I don't regret it personally.

I got a simple one around 6 years ago, it was in tribute to my foster mom and birth mother. They hold a special meaning which define me, I know I didn't need to but I wanted to get it
 
I am covered all over. I like the art involved, and where i am from its not a big deal to have a bunch of tattoos therefore i never thought of it as spoiling my skin.
 
I’ve had several over the years. These days I’m sporting a crescent and star on my forehead, a skull on my left bicep, and Vladimir Putin’s face with angel wings on my right calf.

The lady at the henna parlor I go to is a real artist.
 
I thought of getting one long time back. Spent a lot of time thinking about what image or words I would like to be imprinted with on my body for the rest of my life. A dragon, my name in Japanese letters, a butterfly. Never could find anything that extraordinary or meaningful.

Now things have changed. Not that I cannot think of anything worthwhile to become permanently attached to. I just don't have the physical presence nor the youth to carry any ink without looking like a complete fool.

My already flabby body is fast approaching a time when the skin will start become lax and wrinkly. Imagine having a sagging tiger tattoo on your arm. It'll look less like a tiger and more like a famine stricken homeless kitten you see on those End Animal Cruelty ads with the Sarah McLachlan song "In the arms of the angel" playing in the background. Or lets say the chinese yin yang symbol on the chest. It'll droop over one another symbolizing the saying "out the yin yang".

Unfortunately that ship has sailed.
 
Have tattooed name of my ex which I was supposed to remove before my marriage, but I am afraid of those laser surgeries..want to get it something drawn over it. Whenever the topic of tattoo comes up Mrs CC gives me a look of contempt. This thread is a good reminder that I must do something to erase that horrible name from my skin.
 
Have a Guevara tattoo on my right arm. Cliche, I know but I was quite young (and not quite sober) when I got it.

Thanks for the idea..will get the unwanted tattoo overridden by guevera. The tattoo is on my right kamar.
 
I once had "786" tattooed on my arm. Removed it after someone suggested it may not be right.

The 786 Bismillah syndrome is quite prevalent in our society. How did you remove it? Henna tattoos don't count.

It was removable when I had it tattooed. The guy who inserted it put some cream on it that did the trick:bhatti

Then it was Henna or something similar. Actual tattoos penetrate the skin and some "cream" does not do anything.

Wasn't henna! This was a different kinda tattoo I had many years back. Don't recall the detail s now other then the "786" message I had. An injection was required to first numb that part of my skin before the procedure was complete.

Actually my Guevara tattoo was meant to cover another rather unflattering tattoo I got in prison. I even went all out on the red ink in that particular region.

Given your history, pictures or it didn't happen, I am ready to post mine if you will yours as it will not reveal your identity. Hope it was a short name though.
 
Never got one and find them creepy, especially on girls. But that could be an age thing.

Everything I say is based on truth. You remind me of someone who used to mock me for my height. I am ready to post the pic of a part of the name (as showing the full name can easily reveal the identity of the person). But how will you know the pic is taken by me? Should I include a note written on paper in the pic?

Yes, a note saying Pakpassion.com with the current date would do.
 
I've always thought about getting a tattoo but decided against due to the pain of getting it removed and then the thought of what my mom would do if she found her young muslim son had one.
 
I'd love to get a tattoo, find them very aesthetic. Not sure what I would get though or where. I know for sure I wouldn't get a huge sleeve tattoo but I'd like a few small tattoos on parts of my body.

wrote a note, and went to the bathroom to take a pic..then thought what am I doing with my life trying to prove how stupid I was (or am) to someone on the internet.
