The 1st Test between Pakistan (438 & 311/8d) and New Zealand (612/9d & 61/1) ends in a draw

KW played very very well assisted by sarfraz ahmed. Nz would probably have scored around 400 450 if those stumpings were not missed. Reminds me back in the day when kamran was horrible.
 
wao Imam really, it couldn't have been more obvious, Ab dressing room me ja kar 100 celebrate kru, This mentality alone deserve loss after loss, and this will keep happening, make it 5 out 5 losses at home.. No low is. low for this team.

You could see Imam was either going to get stumped (or run out) with the way he was marching down the pitch. Clueless batting and not required.

New Zealand will canter to a 10 wicket victory here, further humiliation for Babar and Pakistan.

Like I have said even during thr England series, you could have picked a club spinner and he would have gone through this pak team in 2nd innings

How can you lose another test after scoring 400 plus
 
yesterday i predicted that Sodhi will take a fifer, very easy fifer for him. Extremely poor batting against not so well disguised googlies by sodhi.

babar is not responsible for how our batsmen are getting out , he has to answer for how he keeps getting out against incomind deliveries from wrist spinners and quicks alike. All not well.
 
Hasranga was running through them even in T20s. I think there is no concept of reading googly from hand in Pakistani batting culture.

He is mentally not good enough. He just plays for his stats. He will score soft runs but if you need him he will humiliate himself.
 
Was only a matter of time the way imam was playing. A batting collapse was inevitable anyways.

if you have a quick 140 plus bowler , bowl short to us.

if you have a wrist spinner , bowl googlies.

if none we will find ways to get out.
 
imam was unsure of his defence against sodhi outside off , that made him itchy. High risk batting for not much reward.
 
If Pakistan manage to go till last half an hour of the game, Babar will say we dominated the match.
 
The new ball will be key. I think NZ will take it if no wickets fall in next few overs

Just the same rubbish again and again. Speak of mistakes we need to learn from blah blah. Smash things in dressing rooms, be on their knees for the videos. And then when the situation presents itself once more and there is a chance for redemption, they get out exactly in the same manner again. Pathetic bunch.

Imam survived for 206 balls scoring 96 runs and Pakistan fans are still blaming him. If Pakistan has a chance inlog securing a draw in this match then it's because of Imam.

pakistani giving good treats to our desi vistors with 5 wicket hauls. Rehan first and now sodhi.

ajaz will get in the next match.
 
They have to keep the scoreboard moving. You can't defend another 30 overs trying to score nothing. Score the odd boundaries and take the easy single
 
Waqar mentioning Imam may have been under pressure in 90's. Wonder what was more important? His hundred or team's survival
 
On a dead wicket where sodhi was playing like a batsman you can trust garbage like Masood and Abdullah to fail emphatically

Would it not be possible to move Saud to 3 and play Rizwan and Sarfaraz with one as a batter?

Pakistan not making runs in the first innings was not an issue in this test. But yea, you have to hold BA accountable too for the.way he gets out in the second innings & his pathetic captaincy. Blaming Imam for his stumpings is a horrible attempt to deflect from BA’s shortcomings.
 
getting a lead of 150 means pakistan bats another 20 overs. 150 runs in 15 overs will be very very difficult to chase and no chance of pakistan getting 10 wickets
I think a chase of 120 and 18-20 to bat , nz will win it.

Tea break coming at wrong time for Pakistan. Now the captain and coach and even the cook will give them advices and come out after tea, all out in a couple of overs.

He is no where near as an AllRounder but batting well for change,normalluy would try reverse paddle and get out. Surprised Saud cameso late he should had batted before Salman. Sarfraz coming before him was understandable as he isvwry hood player of spin.
 
Just 1.30 hours play remaining after Tea.where are you silly people coming up with 35-40 overs remaining. Time for only 26-27 overs remaining.

Imam batted well. Abdullah seem to have lost his form, for sure he will be back. Overall batting lineup is the best possible with exception of Shan, who should be replaced by Kamran G.

They will Most likely get in around max 28 overs. So Pakistan has to bat another 12 overs and score around 40-45 which will take lead to 120. Nz will only have around 14 overs as (minus 2 overs for change of innings ) to get them.
