If you'd asked me after our first innings if I would have taken a 390 lead, I would have said hell yes. If we can't defend 390 in the fourth innings we don't deserve to win the Ashes.

7 sessions is the sole piece of good news for England. a lot easier said than done...but they just have to stay in. wickets in hand a lot more important than quick runs.

because the vast majority of young bowlers have not developed a disciplined line and length, and serve up 2-3 potential four balls every over, which sometimes go to the boundary at this level of cricket. Bumble's analysis is usually spot on, and again here. I know it's a poor excuse to be young, but you've got to give them time. Remember Amir is a special talent and an exception
