112 behind at the moment.. England should look for a big lead but Johnson was getting a bit of inswing yesterday. Whoever wins today should gain the advantage in this test.

That was a good ball to get jimmy.

Even if colly scores a century he should go now. His time is up. Painful to watch him.

Looks like a lot of people are interested in this game.

Anderson just got bowled by Siddle. Collingwood out in his (last?) test.

Jimmy played a glorious shot before he got out. Loved it.

Need a partnership this morning.

Why do they send Jimmy as a night watchman? I think they should send in someone like Bresnen or Broad (if he's available) as these guys can probably stick around for an hour or so and score 20, 30 odd runs. Jimmy is a walking talking wicket.

Aussies bowling well here. If England can survive this they will be set.

This series, particularly the last three matches, have been quality entertainment

The Aussies just cannot bowl at Cook. Leg side over and over and over again. He's milked his way to 87. No wonder his series aggregate is so daft!

Watson is the only bowler to bowl four on off-stump and Cook is nearly caught. So simple! Most of these Aussie bowlers have all the brawn, but the brains are sometimes lacking.

Thus far they've been nowhere near as unlucky as we were in Brisbane when Jimmy bowled one of the best spells of his career.

England look to be on the verge of taking control here.

"Yesterday Australia bowled round the wicket at Alastair Cook and Andrew Stauss to cause them problems. This morning they have bowled over the wicket to Cook, exactly what he's comfortable with. The thought process around this whole Australia side has been so poor."
- Michael Vaughan

England collapse now and again and they could be due if Cook falls. Good conditions for bowling.

they still haven't figured out how to get Cook out. That, or he's just too good for the Aussies

Cook has just calmly milked his way to fifties and hundreds in almost every innings on this tour. He has gone way past Chris Broad's famous aggregate in 1986/7, and even Michael Vaughan's huge total in 2002/3. Unbelievable really.

Deeply, deeply unsporting. Disgraceful.

Has to be seen as attempting to cheat the umpire. Poor from Hughes got his team mates involved.

will beer ever get cook out? LOL at botham getting in a rage

Beefy didn't let him off the hook there did he? lol

That was pretty clever of Cookie to pick that up, normally a batsman would've said screw that I'm done.

Very ordinary stuff from the fielder. Silly cheater.

:)))

Hughes should be kicked out for his batting in the first place but trying to blatantly cheat like that deserves the boot alone. LOL.

Hes got every right to claim it just as batsmen have got every right to not walk when theyv nicked it. The umpires are there for a reason and they made the correct call this time. Its not cheating. Why do bowlers appeal when they know its going down the leg side?

catcher wasnt sure, stop calling him a cheat

sorry dude, that was cheating.

To be honest every catch that gets referred looks likes it bounced on the replays.

:)) yeh it was :$ just realised how silly my post sounded after rereading it. What I meant to say was its part of the game and that we should be happy umpires made the right decision :)) cant blame hughes too much
for giving it a try though

Congrats to Cookie for his 16th international 100. Well played.

Another excellent innings by Cook. He has battered Australia in this series.

Highest one series aggregate for an England batsman in Australia for 80 years. lol

Collys gonna be at the crease all day to milk atleast a half century

Pathetic from Hughes and the rest of them. First they cheat a catch then none of them applaud Cook's hundred!

Yes, and every slip catch I see referred where commies reckon he got his hands under the ball also seem like it bounced.

mate it was proper cheating like. I don't normally call marginal things cheating at all, but this was not even marginal. sad to see from a young player.

Why should they applaud the bloody hundred. They must be sick of him by now!

Ah well, who's got the last laugh when they're this rubbish?

Collingwood blows it. Na na na na, na na na na, hey heyyyy....

Claiming a catch isn't the same as not walking. By claiming a catch which you know you never caught is conning.

Collingwood goes as expected. Beer has his first test wicket.
