Beer gets his wicket. Has been bowling well. Colly doesnt have temperment for test cricket :afridi what a poor shot.

Maybe Collingwood last test :( my 2nd fav Eng player after Flintof.

Poor Collingwood, he really has gone down the pan.

If this is his last game though, getting Michael Hussey out has immortalised the ginger destroyer forever, even if he gets a duck in the 2nd dig :D

who was that other fella Australia brought in as a spinner. Beer is better than him

Lets see what bell can do. He likes to fire shots which is often the reason for his early walk back.

Cook emulating Broad, another left hander who scored 3 tons in a series down under in 1987.

Aye, great achievements both, except Cook has a 67 and an 80 to his name too, giving him a much better aggregate than Broad. Given that England have not even batted twice in some of the tests, he has got a score in pretty much every innings. Amazing display of skill and concentration

Lets hope the similarities end there and cook doesnt end up fathering a **** bowler with an attitude problem :)

Bell's so good at that square cut to the spinner. Beer has to stop hanging it out there.

Nice how everyone gets behind mgraths late wifes charity.. the great man on the mic aswell now

I've seen a totally different side to McGrath since he retired. Didn't used to like the smug little goon at all.

Forgot prior still to come. England easily taking a 80+ lead here.

Anything less than 100 is not much chop in Sydney, they have to bat last.

Beer looks decent, I can't quite believe it.

And what is Smith in the team for if he is not going to bowl and bats at 7?

Good on pigeon for all charity work he's doing. I know his preditcion for the next ashes. :)

I think 100 might be handy on this occasion. There's swing out there and Swann will be licking his lips if Beer is looking good.

I used to HATE warney too on the field he was always so smug and looked liked hed suffered an injustice when an umpire would turn an appeal down...but now hes my favourite commentator

Wouldn't Glenn's new wife get a bit uncomfortable with the huge amount of Jane stuff? With all due respect to all concerned, this is a serious question.

I'm sure she understands it's a charity named after his ex-wife.

I was thinking the same thing! She must be a very patient lady. Mgrath obviously loves his late wife very very deeply and for the new one to constantly be reminded of that must be a tough thing to deal with

Bell leaves the ball better than anyone in the side.

Cook has now batted the longest amount of time (2027 minutes) of any England player in any England series ever.

33 hours.

Commies talking about McGrath's 19 dismissals of Mike Atherton :))

Bell with 11 half centuries against Australia in 18 tests with a highest score of 87.

This would be a great time to score that elusive ton.

There are many players who haven't got anywhere near that record v Australia, so fair play to him for those contributions, but the lack of an Ashes hundred despite playing some or all part of four Ashes series is going to haunt him until the moment he finally gets it.

Would love to see these guys bat until tea. Could set up another win.

Hilfenhaus is so crap lol.. looking like a poor man's.. err... Hoggard. :)))

By the way where has been Tremlett before this series? I cant believe bowlers like Broad and Finn were playing and not him.

'He bowls to the left, he bowls to the right, that Mitchell Johnson, his bowling is ****e'

LOL
