The boat of starving Rohingya refugees that no country will take in

The Ronhingya elders consider themselves Pakistanis and Quaid-e-Azam said that he will make them part oef East Pakistan

Which is now Bangladesh of course. Maybe Bangladeshi PM Sheikh Hasina needs to make a similar commitment.

Religion more than half the problems are caused by it.. Even in this thread all I see is Muslim/Islam.. the day everyone realises we are humans first and everything else later there could be peace.. Atleast till the time we find another reason to fight/discriminate..

Well I think that is the strange thing about this tragedy, the ones who are persecuting and burning down villages are buddhists, and previously we have always associated their religion as being the most peaceful and non-violent of all religions being practised today. Yet in Burma and Sri Lanka we have seen buddhists carrying out the most horrific ethnic cleansing.

I guess you are right over there.. I think mostly people are normal/against such violence but there would be a minority who carry out such heinous acts and give a black name on entire country/religion.. The problem is that the majority of that country/religion doesn't stand against those minority bad elements in support of the ones getting lynched..

Regardless problem is right now these lowlifes have the mask of 'religion' to carry out their crimes..

India wasnt any better

a woman's life was tied to her husband and she was thrown into a fire to die during her husband's funeral

and many others equaly bad practises which im sure you know about

That practice was regional, and exclusive to certain parts of North India. You can google it yourself. It is pathetic compared considering it was still done till the British arrived.

Islam gets more heat because the baddies commit crimes in the name of Islam, justifying what it supposedly says on Quran. Hindus and Buddhists don't attempt to justify their action through their religious texts and therefore Hinduism and Buddhism don't get much heat. It doesn't help when Muslims view themselves as Muslims first then Pakistani/Indian/Arab or whatever. When an Indian starts doing dumb things, the Indian community gets the heat because the Indians are viewed as Indians. When a Pakistani or Afghani gets the heat, Islam gets the blame because he/she sees himself as a Muslim first.

Humans aren't divided by lines drew by some bunch of European guys, human all over the world are all the same. You will always find someone with exact traits, behaviour and interest as you.

I guess the answer is to look beyond your personal prejudices and stick to the facts.

Hazrat Budhh AS will be crying if his soul is aware of it.

This whole warped myth about Islam being the only practising religion or the only religion which mixes with state is a myth
you only have to look at the rise of trump or even the recent superman vs batman film to see there is a definitely an agenda out there to try and get religions to become more universal for many more and for the sidelining of Mohammed Pbuh being a prophet of god
We see a trend of countries becoming more dogmatic from india to America to holland in terms of faith but Muslim countries being called backward rather than on the right track for sticking to the same values

Long story aside and I'm not trying to get you on my side or change the demographics of the debate but we need to stop demonising certain religions while pretending to be secularist but then showing double standards by adopting decent values when we are abhorred by a shameful act we hear or read about

People have no time to learn about other things, they got families to feed, kids to take care of, bars to get hammered and just don't care enough to want to learn.
