England lead 5 match series 2-1 with this final battle @ the oval to be played. Historically the oval has been a good ground for england v Australia.

Eng V Aus head to head @ oval

played 10 - eng wins 4 Aus wins 4 draws 2

so history favours england. scattered rain showers predicted over next 5 days which may cause disruptions during match.

how can oyu replace jones with collingwood? I mean he is a totally different player. IMO with jones gone and the return of mcgrath, things may even out in the final test.

The Wicket seems a typical aussie type wicket. pretty good pace and also alot of bounce.

mcgrath bowling good line as per usual.

lee has got some swing but hasnt got his line yet.

was certainly an excellent toss to win.

next ball good delivery.

Warne straight into his stride.

strauss takes a single.

then Warne bowls a crap ball and tresco smashes a stretching cover drive for 4

overall good over.

warne gets pulled for 4

and 2 balls later a beautiful cover drive for4 by Vaughany.

Too soon to say if it'll be 400, that famous collapse might not be too far away if another few wickets go, but I do think England have won Ashes with the weather forecast being what it is.

ball was a bad ball...short delivery and he tried to pull it legside.

Session 1 - goes to australia in my eyes... yes england have 100+ on board but this wicket is a belter for batting and to lose 3 wickets in 1st session is not what england would want.

Lunch-tea session is now a biggie!
