Party ends for Nawaz Sharif and begins for military establishment. If 18th amendment is repealed, other provinces will soon become like Balochistan.
And I think China does not like democracy in our country. That is why we are being told about the blessings of presidential system.China has become the new-America for us.During Cold war,USA used the policy of regime change in Pakistan to protect and further its national interests. Now,China is following the same policy.Strategic shifts in regional and international affairs often lead to changes in political landscape and structure of a country. This is what happened in Turkey(failed coup attempt) but public support for democracy shunned the changes. The same is now happening with Pakistan but will people rise and support democracy?I doubt so.

only a revolution of common people of pakistan can save pakistan now, the way the establishment is misusing the country, in 1971 half of pakistan got fed up and left pakistan, it will happen again.

pakistanis will have to fight two front wars of not only getting rid of establishment but its pawns and puppets in the political set up the only pakistan can be saved

the present pak govt is a big pawn and thought that all will be well, if they kept bowing to its master and would be no consequences.

Urmmm... yeah.. that's not going to happen. The establishment, which is basically PC for army, has the common people eating out of their hands and the psychological hold they have over the common Pakistani has been strengthened over the years to the point where it's now practically unbreakable. This much should be evident by the general public's attitude towards the establishment and that towards the civilian politicians (bar Imran Khan's party) despite the former having looted and screwed them over infinitely more than the latter ever could. There will be no two front war because while the unwashed masses cry and moan about the pawns you mentioned, they think of those pawns as independent actors that are trying to derail the good work done by the benevolent establishment who, in turn, continues to present itself as the lone force for good in a sea of evil.

I can't read Urdu so can someone tell what does it say?

it's a long article with the crux saying that the nawaz led pmln government is going to be dethroned and new elections may or may not lead to a stable pakistan.

with the added opinion of the writer stating that he told zardari that he isn't corrupt and a coined phrase
- teri perceptionaan saanu maar gayyan (your perceptions killed us) written incorrectly in urdu

basically u missed nothing.

Good short summary :)

But the perception of Awaam was otherwise yaar. S Warraich didn't say to A Z that perception is that he isn't corrupt. He said the perception is that Yes He is Corrupt and S Warraich thinks otherwise. At this A Z said that Truth & perceptions don't run side by side.
