Yes I started it and nobody had a problem. It was all in good humor but then a few people decided to overdo it. These things are fun for a period only.
 
Is youtube banned in Pakistan??

If it is do u guys know ways around the ban or can you not watch videos at all?

Gets better with time. The iPhone keeps adding new words to its dictionary as you type roman Urdu and ignore the auto correct.

It's about a boy who is born blind and his parents raise him up pretending that the whole world is blind and the concept of vision and eyesight doesn't exist and the challenges that they face and the impression of the kid about the world and how he perceives it.

Some chapters are from the parents' POV and some from the kid's. I have been stuck for months and don't know how to finish it. :uakmal

My friends think it's very boring. :22:

Im an avid reader and i have to say that sounds really good. Unique concept too. Hope the rest of the project goes well. You're doing a medicine course and a writer. Is there anything you're not good at lol

I wanted to be a writer, but my English has hit a dead end, in fact it keeps getting worse. I need to work on that first.

I enjoy writing things though, but only if I find something that genuinely interests me.
 
As I mentioned this morning, PP is my drug.

Just finish it, I want to read it, sounds interesting.

All I got from this thread so far is, that Donal is a serious joker along with Aman. Both of these two remind me of Frieza and Cell. Because they seem like a great villianious partners. That like to disturb the peace with there laughter.

In real life i always try to make light of situations. Thats how i am and probably always will be. If ever i offend anybody by what i say please tell me and ill stop because the last thing i want is to bully someone because im not that type of person. The comments ive made arent meant to be taken seriously but alas some people ive offended. I accept that and i will not discuss it further because i realise sometimes i can be quite annoying.

Just needed to get that out there :)

To be fair your jokes are by far one of the funniest here. As in a person like me who is just reading some texts actually laughs at reading it. I would never want you to stop joking since you are a funny guy. But at times yeah you should control yourself. But don't be too hard on yourself, mistakes happen. Just move on and learn from it and most importantly be yourself.
 
Everyday is mothers day for me. I don't need one special day dedicated to her. Since every day is a special day.

@ 96NO - for a while, I hit a dead end during my O levels in terms of writing. Complete, mental blockade. I'd just manage to write out an essay (for English) - I never got anything below an A, but internally, I'd feel like setting myself on fire for doing such a shoddy job.

Things looked a tad better in A levels, but since the past 2 years, I'm back on that writer's block again..

Recently, I wrote a piece when I was personally feeling at my lowest. I'm thinking about editing that into some coherent form..
 
And there is such little scope for writing and painting in Pakistan. :facepalm:
 
That's exactly like me... This whole year I've only managed to write one essay which I was actually proud of. The others were garbage. I got grades, but I knew I could do better.

I wrote a narrative for my exam, and I think it was decent, but then again, it's not the best I can do. I need something that will make me want to write, not some forced topic. Like Pak vs Ban/Ind in the Asia Cup.

To be honest, as a profession, it's not practical in our society which is why both painting and writing are mere hobbies.

I was going through my old posts. I found 2 of my uber old write-ups, one on Umar Akmal, one on Shoaib Malik :))

But yeah, you need something to naturally get your muse flowing again. These things can't be forced.

I've had to strangle my muse a few times, now I feel its raging inside. Roaring to be set free.. Tonight's gonna be a good night, I think .. :msd

I've never written anything on a player. Some games yes, but usually it's just something that pops into my mind.

I need a few good prompts to get going again.

I don't think paintings sell anywhere a lot, unless you live in this place where money grows on tree, and your name is Van Gogh or Picasso or Monet.

Which is why you'll always be a starving artist.
