Forgot to add 1971, when it’s about Pakistani Muslims, it’s a victory lap for “breaking East Pakistan.” When it’s about Bangladeshi Muslims, the script flips to “we gifted you a country.” And when it’s about Indian Muslims, suddenly Bangli Muslims become the “evil” ones, while their fugitive is pampered as a house guest.
