Football is a casual time pass for me. Its not a passion like golf and cricket.

who watches golf :80:?
WC Football>WC cricket but generally cricket is more entertaining with things like tests and bilaterals

Golf isn't particularly enjoyable to watch, yes.

Unless you are a player. Then you view it in a completely different manner.

Golf is very fun to play.

Nothing more satisfying than launching the ball 200 yards off the tee. Dont play it in any golf clubs though. Pitch and putt is where its at!

I ain't following it lately but I love boxing. Khan is my idol along with muhammad Ali, great guys.

Good choices .. i never rated khan as a legendary boxer , he is good but no way near to be a great .. Ali is a great boxer though.. Floyd is man to an ideal idol :moyo

Khan is obviously not the greatest boxer alive, I like him simply because of the Pakistani connection. I aim to have a body like Khan one day :junaid

i tried to practice but the quality of my gloved wasnot that good as it was just a trial but now i have ordered good quality gloves and i will start training soon .. without any trainer though :lee

did you ever try to practice boxing ?

I can do boxing to some extent, I wanted to keep it going but circumstances didn't permit me to. :yk2
Now I guess it is a bit too late to start again because now I have got much more important stuff to focus on. :asadrauf

Games in order of enjoyment ( the one which i played)

Football
Boxing
running(altough its not a proper game)

Badminton
Cricket

I'm focusing more on building my body like Khan rather than doing boxing.

Don't bash me for this but I absolutely hate football. :najam
Badminton, Basketball and Cricket are my favourite sports.

What is your handicap?

Dont know. Like i said i play pitch in putt which is basically a public course with 18 holes and each hole is about 150 yards.

From experience golf clubs are elitist and snobbish and i dont enjoy playing on them

i used to hate it when i was in pakistan but since i came here i started to like it and now its my favourite sport .. i think its a very good game to keep yourself fit

Alhumdulilah I have a mesomorphic body, which fits all the needs for boxing. Just need to shed my fat off and build some muscle. :wasim

great bro .. you are still in your teenage so dont put too much stress on your body just keep it simple do go for those buljy muscles .. after 19 you can start to built muscles

Okay. Yes a lot of them are.

Yeah same, I don't like football either. Infact I don't like any sport besides cricket. If cricket never came in my life I would be sportless.

But even 19 is teen age. :yk 16 is a safe age to start building muscles tbh, most trainers say so. Below 16 is dangerous

yeah you can start from 16 onwards but i think at that age your muscles are not strong enough to bear too much stress .. you body is growing as well so at 19 your musles can bear the stress due to weight liting or so on ..

I once stumbled across articles and pictures of child body builders on cracked i think...

I still havent recovered. Some parents shouldnt be allowed to have children...

Yes I agree. Pains me to see 13 year olds at the gym lifting weights and having no idea what to do.

Pakistan is the best guys! I ... really don't have words to explain why or how or delve into the logistics..

There are some differences I've felt resonate throughout my entire being (during my time as an intl student).. No matter what happens, home is home, and if Pakistan is your home, then none of the problems matter anymore.

Reminds me of the lyrics from Jazba-e-Junoon:

Apna ghar, apni sarzameen
sab kuch hay bas yaheen,
itna tou hay, hum ko yaqeen

*wipes tear*

As for the US, well, you can take me out of America, but you can't take the America out of me. :D

I don't know, it's like a spasm. It'll die down in a while, so I need to relish this.

I love my country more than anything (literally).

Maybe Nutella gives it a tough fight. :adnan

Anyone here ever have Jamesons Whisky? Its quite nice with 7up.

Kim Jong Un apparently buys truckloads of it

As far as Pakistani celeb crushes go, I fancy Kiran Khan (Masala TV) and Ayesha Bakhsh (Geo anchor) these days.

:adnan

I should have added a smiley. :adnan

Perhaps, yes :zaka

Well please do :) This is a common trait of Pakistaniyat :)

You have an incredibly messed up take on it, though. You don't believe in the legitimacy of Pakistan as a separate nation, yet you love it.. Sounds like an oxymoron :20:

If someone has a baby he/she didn't intend of having, he/she will still love the baby with all his/her heart. :adnan

I know you've used it, that very entertaining debate in the ACC chief thread, right?

Dr_Bassim owned you.

He didn't own me and neither did I own him. It was a stalemate because we have completely different viewpoints on the creation of Pakistan. It was a dead end which is why he didn't reply to my last post which was deleted if I remember correctly.

But she is being extra mean to me since yesterday to put me off I guess.

Mai be kuttay ki dum hoon. :23:

Whatever you want to believe Mamoon. I still think he won.

What does "mein bhi kuttay ki dum hoon" mean?

Hows it going 96no?

I met my cousin yesterday, she's giving her A level finals. Bechari ki shakal se pata chal raha tha :))
