Yes, but I was double minded at that time. So went for Mehboob hehehe. We used to write long long explanations to get good marks. (most of the time exaggerating the things)

Lol,yup very long:(and exaggerating haha you're right:P

When picking characters i decided on personality as well as looks.

Pakistani legend was almost stuart but i havent read enough posts of his to know whether or not they would be accurate :)

Make up your minds, I used it as a larka throughout my exam. And I just remembered. :6:

Check out which one is better from the following and decide for yourself:-

Taaqat ek achi cheez hai.

OR

Taaqat ek acha cheez hai.

Which one is better?

Always make a sentence on the word you are confused with. It works for me.

Mujh me taaqat agaya hai vs muhe me taaqat agai hai.

I don't know much about The Big Bang Theory, only watched a few episodes. And I've never seen her.

*ignores the bottom half of Donal's post*

Is everyone here fluent at Speaking/Listening in English as well or is it just reading and writing?

Well, I've spent my whole life in America, but sadly, I can't speak English. :(

And I can't listen to it either. Hurts my ears.

thats odd :13:..I expected you to be one of the fluent speakers due to your american roots

I the same in writing as I am in speaking or listening.
well judging by the grammar here, I don't think that would be very good :)))
But seriously, can you speak it without any troubles with a foreigner? And do you have a strong Pakistani accent?

I would guess that it is obvious if we see the posts of a particular poster. We can easily make it out because the poster who is writing and reading in English here is the same person who speaks and listens to it.

I have spent a lot of time in England and with my English cousins so I have had great exposure and practice when it comes to speaking English. Its as natural to me as Pashto or Urdu.

Not sure about the accent. Can't be British of course.

reading and writing is far easier than speaking/listening. Like you guys learn English, I learn french...I'm good at reading/writing but poor at speaking and listening

Many people write very well but aren't fluent speakers. You need practice like any other language.

OK. I would guess that I am decent in English because it is the main medium of communication here along with Arabic.

Yes, naturally. Girls in my college have English fever too and its the only language they'd use to communicate with you. :dav
