Nose admits he didn't properly take over the booking till Mania 40 funnily (and sadly) after which is when things started going off the rails.
He just doesn't have any creativity. 100% agreed with Bret on this.

Basically, WM was good until Vince was involved, WM was Vinces baby, he never missed with that event, I was only ever outraged by WM 29 & a lot of that was to do with how poor Punk was being utilised and that was more to do with H sabotaging Punk then anything else. WM 27 was quiet to; but these are like anomalies. Whereas since H took over he has missed more than he has done well, he has taken the spectacle out of the Big 4 events and is clueless with booking them, he doesn’t understand his own fan base, for better or worse the other idiot Coke Khan at least understands his depraved fans very well and he wont expand beyond that, so the PPV’s are ok.

Who’s booking this?

Can you share their contact details with H, maybe they can give him some pointers.
He is in the creative team. :yk :inti

Let it be known if he was, he’d be in every segment and hold all the belts, Khali’s politicking doesn’t get enough credit

I remember when he came back when Jinder was champ & he snatched the belt off him & wouldn’t give it back because he knew the images of him with it was going to make the news back at home 🤣

Bro Jinder Mahal is so underrated. Why is he bouncing around in the indies? Why hasn't anyone signed him by now? This is not like EC3 or Braun Strowman being free-agents - who are guys I wouldn't touch with a 10 ft. pole.

Vince created magic with mania 38 which was his last. Austin coming back, sami knoxville, cody seth, theory mcafee, roman being elevated to unseen heights. With a mediocre card, he delivered and entertained fans. It was pretty evident that everyone was actually enjoying the event. Now its just wrestling without life at mania. Mania 40 delivered because of dwayne's involvement otherwise it would have been just a well wrestled mainevent with no feelings

Khali is a weird person. Hasnt really cashed in on the superstardom he got from wwe

"indian" regardless of whatever passport he holds, he sucks in every aspect just like khali did and sanjay dutt did
That's harsh bro. I think Khali has to rank as one of the all-time worst. In the same category as the likes of Giant Gonzalez. Jinder was a decent heel who knew how to work like one too. WWE didn't know what to do with him other than that they wanted to target the Indian market, and I blame them for that more than him.

Sonjay Dutt was super talented and one of the highlights of the 2000s TNA X-Division for me. @shaz619 I dunno if you concur.

It kinda makes me sad that talent such as Sonjay Dutt & The Amazing Red are so easily forgotten really, I think Sonjay was supremely talented really and innovator, same can be said about Jody Fleisch; the golden era of the indies wasn’t just about the four kings, so much depth, it’s even more depressing the scene has been consumed within one promotion, I got nothing against Darby but wrong time, place and against the wrong guy - but I use his example because the guys I grew up watching in the indies, they’d have at least fit the bill for a crazy opportunity such as winning a world title - Could you imagine what it would have been like if The Amazing Red even won the ROH Pure Championship? How low have we fallen that a Straw-weight who’s just good at taking silly bumps can legit win a recognised world championship.

One of the most underwhelming go home Raw and SD before Mania ever.

Even when they were forced to level up, H has to go.

In the past WM was a guranteed sell & didn’t need to bring the fire during the Network era but despite that, the builds were never this underwhelming.

If Vince found himself in this situation, he would legit be in a panic and do everything possible to rectify the situation.

The Rock showed that 4/10 idiot exactly what you need to do in this era and he had been out the business for some time, the go-home shows were way better & more dramatic.

You need to bring the intensity & spend more time fighting then talking, bring the drama etc

H wasn’t even trying.

Could have easily flipped the Orton / Rhodes feud by making Orton the underdog and Cody play the heel (even if it was for this particular match only).

Instead did that idiocy.

@Suleiman Thoughts on Dana’s power slap thing 😭😭😅 Jayyckk Swayyyyger knocked that boy out
Gayest “sport” of all time but also with the highest rate of CTE I think because those guys be trying to smack each other’s ear off with their wrist more than the palm… just do a real combat sport sheesh 🤣

This is inspiring, if I get even one like of this post, I will make a diss about 4/10
It's sad to see how badly they have buried Sami Zayn over a concentrated period of three years that now even the fans have turned on him, but Trick has been brilliant lol. He has so much natural charisma and personality, and his quips and insults have been top-drawer, so much so, that you can even look past the fact that he is not very good in the ring. I can see him winning the US title on Sunday and Sami potentially turning heel that night, or soon after.

Hopefully Sami will turn heel during the match. I want Mania to have some moments. It's already been a dull build

Honestly one of the most abhorrent stunts masquerading as a "physical sport". I seriously want to meet the people who turned up to watch this live. My guess is that their collective IQ is probably in the single digits.

Someone like Jake Hager fits in perfectly here because based on everything I've heard of him in interviews etc, he seems dumb as nails. This guy was a legit amateur wrestler and All-American at the college level. He somehow even managed to fool Vince into putting the World title on him. And this is what he's doing now lol. Talk about a fall from grace.

I have to admit though it was hilarious to see him cuss out Tony Khan. His feud with Tony Khan is one of the funniest things ever because he had nothing to offer AEW, and was basically a favor hire to Jericho. When he was fired most people were surprised to hear that he was still employed because he had been off TV for so long. But the animus with which he went after Tony Khan for that was hilarious.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Eventhough no other promoter would have kept him on for as long as he was kept on lol.

Maybe that's his level and he was probably trying and ended up with this.

Night One is stacked with so much crap. Only match I am looking forward to from an in-ring stand-point is Gunther v Cringelord. Hopefully they are not stupid enough to have cringelord go over. Maybe have Bron interfere and cost cringelord because he is after all a "babyface" on paper.

Cody v Orton was one of the matches I was most looking forward to but that is no longer the case for obvious reasons. At this point I am just interested to see how they will s**t the bed. Will it be a Travis Scott level eff up interference like last year or a more tamer one. The match is already ruined so I have no real hopes from the match.

The rest is just stuff you could find on any other mediocre WWE PLE.

Tell you what, I'm more interested to see how empty the arena will look, and if they are creative enough to cover the large amount of empty seats. That actually may be what I'm most excited to see.

Worst build up to WM ever, every raw and smackdown has been a soap opera segment between the two people who are supposed to be feuding and the one for the wwe championship having a retired washed up goofball ex NFL star masquerading as a tough guy.

Imagine a clown with a trumpet walking into the ring in between a boxing match between Tyson and Holyfield while they are in the middle of fighting each other amidst a flurry of fists… imagine how instantly you’d want to turn it off.

That’s what I think of these garbage celebs polluting all this save for Logan and Speed because at least they have legit elite level athleticism and wrestling ability. Speed is actually training hard and Logan is solid.

unfortunately 🫏 h is a guy who has been propped up his whole life as he works diligently behind the scenes in politics to have this one guy stick around as he tries to get rid of the other guy he feels threatened by. That’s what his entire shtick was in the 90s, making a move on the boss’s daughter and her liking him helped ofc, and now he’s able to do his 🫏 shenanigans at the very top. Screwing over talent like LA Knight, Sami, Finn, Drew and many more while getting bent over by his TKO masters as he looks for a quick buck in revenue by inviting every celeb from every industry… only a matter of time before we see BangBros CEO shake hands with Cody before hitting him with a chair as well.

So glad UFC and boxing exist… even though they are not direct pro wrestling competition they still get the job done for that combat / drama etc to an extent depending on the press conference and history.!

They really opened the show with Youtubers, Drew had to have pissed someone off right or is the king of cold just that god damn incompetent

And what the hell was that gay porno between Punk & Cody; that was your final segment before WM, I can’t see how it serves any purpose other than petty H doing one of his sly digs towards AEW, and if it was foreshadowing of either both men losing or winning; then it’s not really clever and it didn’t do anything to move the needle

Cena's entrance alone is better than last 4 months of WWE.

Man has lost his mobility, so sad, I knew how tough he was finding his retirement tour, probably kept himself going with numerous needles and fought through the pain of it all and he still showed up today unprepared, they wanted him to work! He’s a nice guy and all but am glad he learned to say no

And even then he wanted to do 200+ dates!! He only agreed to 30 something because that’s what H countered with.

Am sure 🫏 H is wishing he agreed to that 200 Cena appearances for his final year - woulda made more $$$$$ than this mtv celeb feature era for this greedy bum

Drew should take that sword and shove it up H’s behind, can’t believe these two are in this spot, Drew in back to back years
Every final SD or Raw before WM is supposed to be tempers exploding, crashing one guy’s car with a semi, police and security tryna separate the guys etc,

Instead we have Cody and punk having a downton abbey episode.

I know Cody’s gotta do what he’s told but with all the garbage h has him doing, only a matter of time till I kick him in the balls and turn on him too

As soon as that match ended I knew where it was going and honestly I had no problem with it lol. If there is anyone I can make an exception for its iShowSpeed because I find him very entertaining and he's pro-Palestine. Drew got screwed because that match should have opened the show but if there is one celeb I am okay with being in this spot its Speedy. Okay way to start Mania. I was mildly entertained because the match didn;t go on too long.

How far has Damien Priest fallen off the totem pole lol? Not even on the WrestleMania card. You almost forget that he was a World Champion not too long ago. And now he's doing comedy skits with R-Truth and Danhausen

Meanwhile Drew having the exact same match he had on last year's WrestleMania but with a different opponent

Probably a fitted suit also restricted his ability to run.
But he was advertised for post Mania Raw 2026 as earlier as December 2025.

After a while, I enjoyed a Gunther match (not because his matches are bad) but because it didn't have a career ending stipulation stupidly put to it. It was a good match and could have been the hot opener for Night 1 but Nose is an idiot.
Another thing, if Breakker was cleared to compete, why even have this Seth Gunther match get thrown together without any story. WWE booking has more holes than tom and jerry cheese these days.
The match suffered from the unnecessary Bron interference.

When Cody came back, there was a strict narrative from Vince to Cody that he needs to have an ice cold presentation. Ever since Vince left, Cody cries every time he's cutting a promo. Someone should tell him, the crying you did on the road to Mania 40 or the night after Mania 40 was enough. Now act like the face of the company.
Imagine Roman bringing Leukemia to his every story and start crying. This is how you destroy a character.

Would have liked someone like Waller booing the crowd etc and Cena interrupting him with a five knuckle shuffle and AA.
Or cena interacting with Danhausen etc.

Yep as expected

🫏 h is not gonna let Randy surpass him… it’s so obvious how seriously this tool takes himself that he can’t let someone far superior break his make believe record…

Randy should have won. :facepalm :inti
As long as ghada triple h is at the helm, forget it, he takes things like records etc too seriously and can’t let a dud like himself get surpassed on the all time championship list

Randy deserves the record for most championships far more than Cena and triple h. No backstage politics at least not as much as h , nothing, just honest worker for more than 20 years. No stepping in the back and taking easy while his father in law pays him, nor running off to Hollywood and becoming a part timer (not that there’s anything with that)..

But he doesn’t care, he doesn’t play for records like his goofy mentor

First WM for me where it didn’t feel like a WM… the women’s matches had way better build up, last years WM as bad as it was still had an incredible build up carried by Cena, and him turning heel. Whatever we may think of the wasted potential, Elimination chamber to WM of last year and even Backlash was so hyped.

Ofc 🫏 insisting on doing it in Vegas again doesn’t help… kills that excitement you have for the hype around a new city as well.

i've seen better episodes of Raw and SD than this Mania Night 1.

Gunther v Seth was good.

Other than that, not a single match felt like a WrestleMania match.

Ending the main-event with an angle also has to be one of the dumbest booking decisions ever. This did Cody no favors. And unless Orton is injured in some way it made no sense for Cody to retain the belt.

Yes gunther seth match was the only one that had the high octane energy worthy of mania. That should have been the night opener.
But seth should have lost clean. Should have been without interference, second, what was the point of booking gunther seth if bron was cleared.

Seth is a top babyface so you need to give him an out otherwise it buries him. That was the logical thing to do.

Bianca Belair announcing her pregnancy was an embarrassing segment. To do this on WrestleMania sums up where this company is that. Why should I give a flying eff if she's having a child?? What place does that announcement have on the biggest show of the year?

only good results were Gunther going over but should've been clean

Bad results, McIntyre should have won, Randy should have won obviously *** was the point of having Patt in the build up??? for an extra paycheck?, Becky should have lost but i heard the match was good, Liv should have lost also, Bellas should have lost also *** are part timers winning titles going to do???

Cringe, its like wrestlers cant get preggers and when they do its BAAAAAAHHHH GAWWWWD moment or something lmao. Cena should have given her AA to make the moment memorable.

I think they gave in to the overwhelmingly negative response to Pat and decided to cut him loose. But the way it was done was so stupid and lazy. Definitely hurt the match and the finish even more so. Nobody got over in this match

Gunther reminds me of Farhan. Zero personality and a complete hack. And we have some misguided people comparing him to CM punk lol
