Despite the disgraceful Republican voter suppression, especially in North Carolina, it is heartening to see large minority turnout in places like Nevada.

Keep an eye on the Senate race too guys - could even be a 50-50 split. Tight races in New Hampshire, Wisconsin and Missouri, North Carolina.

Trump needs close to a miracle to win.

If he loses Flordia it's game over for him. Even if he does gain Florida then he needs North Carolina and Pennsylvania and maybe New Hampshire.

Basically he has very narrow path to victory and really needs everything going his way which looks unlikely because he's alienated too many single women voters, Latinos while Blacks just don't want to go anywhere near him.

But above all Trump had a very poor ground game and considering the billions at his disposal he should have matched the well established Clinton machine.

Trumps big hall crowds may have soothed his ego and shored up his fanbase but it was never going to attract more voters so a big error on his part.

I have spent the last year and a half watching the American election very closely. I avoided stating my opinion on social media platforms because of two reasons; the first reason being my opinion on this matter is completely irrelevant and I also do not hold any voting power in the United States. The second reason is that it opens up an another opportunity for people to let loose on social media which will in turn further divide us. But today is the day America decides what type of country they are okay to settle for, so I figured why not?

I say that America gets to settle today because no matter what happens, no American is really going to win. If Hillary Clinton wins, all that will happen with Democrat voters is they get a slightly more Conservative Obama but with less showmanship. If Donald Trump wins, and I think we all know where I'm going with this, then the people of America who have traditionally been the targets of hate (Blacks, Latinos, LGBT etc) have to deal with the fact that half of the American voters decided to support a candidate who has openly shown his disdain towards them. To put it openly, both of the options just suck.

But either one of them has to be voted in, and by just looking at the facts, it's pretty clear that Hillary Clinton will be the next president of United States. The Democrats have an advantage in the electoral college because of the liberalization of America's largest urban areas such as New York, California, basically all of New England, so on and so on. But Hillary has been able to make inroads in the south and a few other regions where Republicans have traditionally held strong. This is due to the changing demographics and ironically enough, can be linked back to a Republican President. In the 1950s, President Dwight Eisenhower constructed a series of national highways meant to link the individual states economies together. Along the eastern seaboard we have seen northerns going south more than southerners going north, and those northerners have brought with them liberal values. In other words, the Democrats are growing at the expense of the Republicans.

The people who know me identify me as a progressive conservative. I believe that the best way to lift people out of poverty is to create a market which allows corporations and small businesses to grow. The ultimate goal of any government can not be to get money into their own hands, but to keep money in the hands of people who earned it. Many believe that wealth inequality is bad, but I believe that wealth inequality is one of the most fundamental parts of a successful country. My argument is essentially one of equality of right over equality of condition.

My message to everyone out there who is like me, a conservative with no one to get behind, just pray that Hillary wins as honestly she isn't that bad when it comes to policies. If you're one of my American friends, vote your conscience, don't vote the party line because it's your party.

The beauty of a democracy is that if this time the winner turns out to be a dud, then there is always another chance to get it right. If you support Clinton, good luck, and if you support Trump then the same goes for you.

Nevada judge denies Trump campaign lawsuit over early voting

A Nevada judge denied the Trump campaign’s request for an order to isolate ballots in Clark County that were allegedly cast after polls closed.

At an emergency hearing Tuesday afternoon, Judge Gloria Sturman said the Trump campaign’s lawsuit raises privacy concerns for the poll workers whose identities the campaign was requesting, saying she feared they would be the subject of “harassment.” Sturman also said Clark County officials are already required to preserve the records the Trump campaign was asking to preserve.

“I am not going to issue any order,” Sturman said.

The Trump campaign filed suit against the Clark County registrar, accusing him of intentionally coordinating with Democratic activists “in order to skew the vote unlawfully in favor of Democratic candidates.”

The suit alleges that the registrar instructed the head of the polling station to keep the location open two hours after its original closing time of 8 p.m., until 10 p.m. The head of the polling location allegedly told a poll watcher that he believed the station was being kept open to “help Hillary Clinton.”

Someone identified in the Trump filing as a “poll watcher” estimated that 150-300 people entered the line after 8 p.m., when the polling station was supposed to close, and suggested the number could have been higher.

Trump asked the court to intervene and make sure that the ballots and voting machines involved in the Nov. 4th voting events not be commingled with ballots and voting machines that were not involved in the alleged illegal voting.

Clark County had a record-breaking number of early voters, exceeding 57,000 by 10 p.m. local time Friday, according to the Las Vegas Review Journal. And the lawsuit points to a location that remained open beyond closing time -- at Cardenas Market. The head of the polling location, according to the lawsuit, was “instructed by the Registrar to keep this polling location open until the market closed at 10 p.m.” The Review Journal had noted that this location, which had been slated to close at 9 p.m., “remained open long after that time to accommodate the many voters still waiting to cast their ballots.”

On CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday, Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said the campaign didn’t object if polls were kept open to accommodate voters who were already in line, but, she said, “we don’t know that that’s true.”

On Saturday, Nevada GOP chairman Michael McDonald complained at a Trump rally that Clark County had “kept a poll open ‘til 10 o’clock at night so a certain group could vote.”

For the record - Trump supported the Iraq and Libya wars from the outset. He only U-turned for political convenience.

He wants to tear up the Iran deal and thinks the US isn't supporting Netanyahu's government in Israel ENOUGH. He also wants to put 30,000 ground troops in Syria and INCREASE the bombing campaigns in the Mid East, not do less.

And his campaign has unleashed a tsunami of Islamophobic hate crimes and open bigotry towards Muslim Americans. Multiple people shot near polling station; active shooter heavily armed

Police were responding to an active shooting near a polling place in Azusa Tuesday afternoon, with officials saying at least four people were shot.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Capt. Jeff Scroggin said police were dealing with at least one suspect who was heavily armed.

Few details were released about the shooting, which occurred sometime after 2 p.m. in a residential neighborhood in the area of Fourth Street and Orange Avenue, said Officer Jerry Willison of the Azusa Police Department.

“This is a very volatile and critical situation,” he said.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department reported firefighters were treating four patients, but their injuries were not immediately known because the situation was “not contained.”

Willison declined to provide the location of the shooting for the safety of the officers and the victims, he said.

Azusa police urged residents to stay out of the area and asked all residents to shelter in place.

It was unclear whether any officers were injured in the shooting, Willison said.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said they were assisting police.

Azusa Union School District issued a lockdown for Slauson Middle and Mountain View Elementary schools about 2:15 p.m., officials said. A nearby daycare center and preschool was also locked down.

1) was SoS when CIA armed rebels leading to Syrian war and over half a million dead. Most responsible for bombing of Libya.
2) supported free trade agreements like NAFTA and TPP which has crushed the US working class.
3) with her her husband has received over $100 million from corporations over the last 10 years (is bought).
4) Law should be the same for everybody, Hillary was given a pass by the FBI for mishandling of classified information for which many have gone to jail.
