Man, can someone show this thread to Umar Akmal and wake him up.
He can still turn around his career if he's determined to. Has the ability, needs to find a mentor and start working very hard on getting fitter and work with a sports psychologist on his temperament. ALl the hard worl could still see him play till 2025 if not more..
Biggest question is, does he want to?
The ship has already sailed for him. He is only regressed with time and doesn't seem to be improving one bit. He is one of so many of our players who promised a world when they started off and went down hill as they played on. I don't know what's it down to but we have a history of producing players who take the world by storm in the early parts of their career and fade away in a year or two. Umar Akmal unfortunately is cut from the same cloth. I hv absolutely no hope from him but I wish he could turn it around somehow.
