He has got power. But you can't hit from ball 1 specially batting against hasan and in Dubai. Plus he's an opener not no.7. This could be his last game of psl. Amad got dropped after being their best bowler last game.

Then no blame goes to him.As a opener he should bat below 3-4. Teams doesn't want to promote any young batsman. Its better for him and others not to play these type of tournaments and withdraw their availability. Playing couple of games like this will dent their confidence for future domestic matches which matter most to be selected in ODI and test matches.

Cant really judge because:

1 Batting in the death overs is a different art all together. You must have a great range of strokes in your arsenal and especially those scoops. If you want to play as a finisher you need to master those scoops.

2 Another reason I cant judge nasir nawaz is that he has been given a different role today than what he is used to. Atleast I can say after today that nasir nawaz isnt ready for the finisher role as yet.

Maybe try him a couple of games as a opener or no 3,4. Then I ll have enough evidence to judge.

He played 3 matches for the Central Punjab's 2nd Xi but couldnt do much.

Northern were 180 for two at the close of play thanks to half-centuries from Nasir Nawaz and Mubasir Khan and required 191 runs to avoid follow-on.

Nasir made 65 from 68 balls in a knock studded with nine fours and a six.

He plays blistering quick but hard to ever see him being Test quality. Far too many aerial shots to make it at the Test level but I think he could be a good LOI batsmen.
