The government on Monday took strong exception to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi saying the state should provide evidence of Kabul’s soil being used against Pakistan.

In a media interaction at the home of PTI leader Alamgir Khan on Sunday night, Afridi said that the state should give evidence for the claim that Afghanistan’s soil was being used for terrorism in Pakistan. He said that other countries also shared a border with Afghanistan but they did not have the same complaints.

The clip was also shared by state broadcaster PTV on the social media platform X.

Let me remind you what this discussion is actually about: Sohail Afridi claimed that there are no attacks coming from Kabul into Pakistan and that the Taliban are not terrorists. That is the core topic.

But your replies are all over the place on one hand you’re clearly calling the Taliban terrorists, and on the other hand you’re still defending Sohail Afridi’s statement as if it’s perfectly valid.

So which one is it? How can you hold both positions at the same time?

If you actually read the positive news coming out of Pakistan, you’d see that a lot is being done on the ground to neutralise these terrorist groups.

I’d happily share those reports, but anything pro-Pakistan isn’t allowed here only negative or anti-Pakistan news gets approved on this forum.

But again the discussion is kpk mp openly supporting an enemy country over national intrest.

I think he just said Pakistan should provide proof that Afghanistan's territory was being used against Pakistan. Unless I am mistaken he did not confirm or deny one way or the other.

It should be simple enough for Pakistan to provide this proof if it is true. I don't see how this makes Afridi a traitor.

Mr. Rishwat, stop pretending to be confused you don't need to think what he said. It’s obvious where his loyalty lies. He’s framing it as if Afghanistan is innocent and Pakistan is the problem, when everyone knows the terrorism spilling into Pakistan is coming from Afghanistan with indian funding.

His focus is on Pashtun identity over Pakistani identity, and PTI’s long-term narrative has consistently hinted at blurring the Durand Line in a way that it benefits Afghanistan and not Pakistan.

This is exactly why many PTI figures in KPK come across as more aligned with Afghan interests than Pakistan’s national interests.

No need to speculate anything its clear as daylight afghans, Pakistani pushtoons from kpk and Balochistan along with pti followers hate pakistan and love Afghanistan and will support Afghanistan based on the enemy is my enemy is my friend.
