[VIDEO] India vs New Zealand: Crowd chants ‘Pakistan Murdabad’ during 1st day’s play in Kanpur

I don't think this is anything worth arresting someone over. Do people get arrested here for chanting Death to Israel?

its now deemed as anti semetic = so yes, and yes even in israel - so the answer is yes

Where is it deemed anti-Semitic? Certain people may deem it. But people chant Death to Israel at protests throughout the world...even in America. A country is not something that is off-limits. If you start arresting people for something this minor where does it end?

well in a civilised country if anyone gets caught saying anything like the above - in either a public or private place - especially caught on camera - the police will investigate.

as the statement wasnt not about liking pakistan, murdabad is a statement - but obvious india is clearly not on that level

Why will police investigate? Many people in India dont like pakistan. Its a hostile country. Not liking a hostile country is not a crime.

the UK now, cant be said, part of the anti semetic law here, added in just around 2yrs ago

american has full freedom of expression like in france, not here in the UK

clearly you cant keep on topic, its not about liking pakistan - a clear political statement being used - in a cricket match - about murder - changing political murder statements,

how you now made it as not liking a hostile country - shows how seriously you cant debate anything on topic, as now you deemed it as hostile- erm clearly you've deviated - typical keyboard warrior

Here in a wonderful civilised country you cannot say these comments anywhere, other than inside your own walls. we dont get many loonies on the street like in india or amercia (redwod original said - f you start arresting people for something this minor where does it end) yep both your 2 ****ries have too many loonies if you believe someone should be investigated for saying the above

Ironic when the world considers one of your cities as the rape capital of this world.

The saying "people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" comes to mind.

Okay. But that doesn't mean it should be there. Hate to get corny but two wrongs don't make a right.

I can understand people getting offended if their religious sentiments are hurt under freedom of speech. I can understand blacks getting offended by the n-word as it has a history of persecution associated with it. I can even understand Jews getting offended if people misrepresent or mock the Holocaust.

But insulting a country? C'mon. Gimme a break.

I have not deemed pakistan hostile. Pakistan is a hostile country. The relations between India and Pakistan are hostile. Anti pakistan slogans are common in India. They are allowed as freedom of expression.

The only keyboard warrior here is you, because you want Indians to be punished for not liking pakistan.

Similar slogans may be heard in the next match as well, if crowds are allowed.

You decided to come to a Pakistani forum and start accusing the state as hostile but the only person who I see being hostile here is actually you. If you can't take it then don't dish it out.

Yes thats why Most Indians still follow the religion and culture of their ancestors inherited more than 3 millenias back.

So commonsense goes out the window? Just do what the old man did no matter if it makes any sense or not! Let me also tell you that the Arab's only make up 14% of the world Muslim population. This means that not only Pakistanis but other Muslim's are also essentially converts to Islam. You have repeatedly tried but failed to convert your Muslims to Hinduism in high numbers. Now you are trying other ways like banning hijab's but it still won't work. Don't cry when Muslim's do the same to Hindu's living in Muslim majority countries. Kuwait is already on the case.
