Shadab Khan played his last Test for Pakistan in 2020, and for quite a long time, he has not participated in domestic First-Class cricket as well. I think he should also be excluded from the central contract.

Shadab Khan has slightly changed his action, improving his line and length. Even his googlies are turning more. He takes two wickets, dismissing Haris and Haseebullah of Peshawar Zalmi. He secured 2/28 in 4 overs.

Shadab always performs well in psl, its why I don't rate psl matches highly.
His place in the xi was never in quest

The stats argument is never a good indicative measure primarily due to how many 2nd string sides Pakistan has played over the years.
Sheddy is a pseudo allrounder. Average with ball and bat.

No, no psl has ever been international standards.
Not even IPL.
International cricket played especially in world cups features the top best players on difficult pitches.
Psl and IPl make batting friendly pitches and feature many 2nd to 3rd string players alongside very few 1st string level players.
They do this cause franchise makes alot of money, and fans come to see sixes being smashed.

Well said. Shadab has become a T20 leauge specialist. Lazy and below average cricketer. Should not be playing International cricket. Just look at the freebies Azam Khan got today, he will never get such easy hit me balls vs International bowlers, as his stats in REAL cricket show.

It's not just stats, one look at his technique and you know he's not close to international material.
Dude holds the bat and plays shots as if he's playing baseball. Zero technique and footwork.
He's lucky that many bowlers in psl end up bowling half volleys.

"It started in 2019, we went on a tour to Australia where the plan was to promote Shadab Khan in the batting order. In the Australia tour, he batted at No. 3-4 and performed exceptionally well. His outstanding performance led to him maintaining a similar batting role in the PSL. "
"Similar to Usman, Shadab plays shots all around the ground, showcasing a wide range of options. He handles fast bowlers well. However, in recent matches, there has been an observable improvement in his composure, especially in pressure situations. This is beneficial for both Islamabad and Shadab."
"I selected him in a national one-day tournament as an emerging player, when I was the captain of the Federal team. Shadab displayed great temperament.
