Babar and Asad have retired to make room for the rest of the order. Iftikhar and Rizwan starting the day for Pakistan.
 
Australians are wearing black armbands as well in solidarity with Naseem. Commentators said Australia offered Pakistan option to substitute Naseem for another player. Pakistan turned that down to retain match's first class status.

Is naseem gone back to pakistan?
If yes then he will miss both warm up games and paksitan them will not risk an untested bloke for test debut

I don't think he's going back until this game is done at least. Commentators said Australia offered Pakistan option to substitute Naseem but it was turned down. Not completely sure though if and when he does go.

Will he be in the right mind to carry on i think he is too young and should not be allowed to make a difficult decision like this on his own ask him to leave and then return when he is in the right frame of mind

Rizwan man. It's for the 5th time I think in this tour that he has let the ball hit his fingers.
 
Rizwan game I think is not at all suited for anything that bounces above knee even in sub cont he is late kn strokes on these quick pitches he makes even average bowlers look like Garner and Ambrose
 
Commentators talking about Cricket in Pakistan. I think it was Mike Hussey that said the Australia Cricket board is building relationships with Pakistan board and Australia may be able to tour in 2-3 years. 2022 or 2023.
 
Our domestic circuit is really crap. Every lalloo panju is a legend there only to be exposed in the international circuit. Funny thing is they go back to bossing the local circuit, get a recall and the whole cycle repeats.

I think the truly exceptional players made themselves in spite of the system and not because of it. Babar being the most recent case.

Speaking of Kamran he does not look like a bad option right now Rizwan is batting like a number 11 and givin our tail we cannot afford a keeper who is a walking wicket

Does the team have a Phychologist? it is very important and it's a must that Naseem meets him/her before making a decision as he is very young and it could be extremely difficult to make a decision.
 
I really feel sorry for Naseem. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. Hope the PCB gives him all the support he needs.

I think right now the priority must be to think of his mental well-being. The tour is low priority in his context. He's 16 and just lost his mother. Hoping he has good support around.

inna lillahi wa inallah rajioon. I hope Naseem Shah recovers from this. If he needs to pull out of the test series to take time off, then he should, he is only 15 or 16 years old.
 
Now the commentators confirming Abbas will NOT be playing in this match after Pakistan turned down substitution offer.

Why are the tailenders batting ?? They should be bowling so that they can bowl out the opposition and give pak batters another chance to bat ! Some weird thinking by the team management .
 
Perhaps Naseem has talked to his family and they want him to play. It will probably be better for Naseem if he returns though.
 
It might be that Nasim Shah's family has persuaded him to continue and not come back . But whatever the reason , certainly tragic for the young man starting his career .

He has been given the day off today. Naseem Shah will be coming back on Day 3 most likely. Pakistan refused substitution and it's implied because the FC status would've been lost.
 
Commies making fun of the whole situation, saying that Babar's century wouldn't have counted. Tough position for Naseem to be in, he is not a TTF and thus not guaranteed a place in the team later on so he has to make full use of whatever little chance available to him right now.

They haven’t made fun of anything stop being gormint aunty. They have actually been very positive about Pakistan cricket since the whole morning I’ve been watching since the start. All the players are wearing black arm bands out of respect and the commies have been talking about how cricket should come back to Pakistan

Was pleasantly surprised how insistent Hogg was about a return to Pakistan. Specifically mentioned security incidents being a threat everywhere but Pakistan still facing the brunt. Mentioned his neighbor lady going alone and having a great trip lol.

One of them made fun of it regarding the FC status and Babars 100 before another one cut him short and got things back on track. Better rewind on youtube and check it out and stop being mean and green.
