[VIDEOS] Indian cricket team chants slogan from anti-Pakistan movie

Its nothing for Pakistan fans or Pakistanis to worry about. What Indian cricket team do after the series win or even loss its upto them.

Regarding the movie - who cares its only a movie even if its anti-Pak what difference does it make? Its not even surprising India is not a friendly country to us.
 
Pak wants Indian Pak pro movies, khan movies, Indian cricket series. And they do not even have their own movie industry. And one random movie ruffles feathers. Come on.

What is the point of your post? What is wrong with Pak pro movies or khan movies? or cricket between the two nations? Unfortunately some fans here think too much about one single movie, But for me there is nothing surprising India is not a friendly country to us I knew that when I was about 8 so it shouldn't surprise anyone if they make anti-Pakistan movies etc.

Really? Chants from an anti-Pakistani movie? I'm a Pakistani and quite recently I watched a documentary on the Indian Navy. I've heard this chant being used to pump up the navy soldiers and it seemed like common practice. Surprised no Indians mentioned this. Seems like a pretty common chant.

As for Hassan Ali's actions at Wagah border, again a non issue for me. He wasn't doing anything illegal, he seemingly enjoyed that so he did what he liked, we should not be offended by his actions.

Similarly just because Indian team said how's the josh, no one should feel offended by it.
 
The slogan is not cringey, but being upset about it is. How one can get upset about such a small thing is beyond me.

And comparing it to Hasan Ali's disrespectful behaviour at the border makes no sense either.
 
I don’t think the context is specifically anti-Pakistan here. Having said that Indian cinemas creative brains have rotted considerably over the last five years or so. They cater to certain parts of the country and the diaspora both of which can often be holier than the pope about nickel and dime nationalism. Hopefully the upcoming elections will bring the temperature down a bit.

What Indian team choose to do while celebrating their victories or lose for that matter should not offend any Pakistan cricket fans or Pakistanis in general unless a direct reference of Pakistan is mentioned.

Regarding Hasan Ali I dont think he did anything that was massively wrong he showed of his normal celebration. I think Indians were a bit too over sensitive their similar to some Pakistan fans here. I would understand it more if Hasan Ali fabricated that gesture just for that occasion but we all know its just his typical wicket taking celebration and he uses it as his signature mark (Publicity).

People think that what Hasan did was a bit disrespectful, but definitely not "massively wrong". It wasn't that big an issue.

Let’s call the movie what it is: nonsense.

Bollywood should stick to what it does best: classically trained actors providing social commentary when not providing escapism. Leave the action movies to Hollywood.

I definitely think Indians were over sensitive about the whole Hasan Ali thing. Even some high ranking Indian official commented on it which was lame really.

I've neither seen the mentioned movie nor have the interest in Bollywood movies. Without understanding the context, I can't understand what is wrong, just going by the plain lines. Is there any hidden meaning or potshots at us in there?

The first comment on this thread I understand. I wondered what Indian players were shouting at the end with the cup. Apparently it's from an anti Pak Ind army movie. It's compared to Hasan Ali's dance at the border. Whaat???:))
 
The hate we regularly experience from Indian Supporters and their Media has finally seeped its way into their Cricket team.
It's a recipe for ‘self-destruction’.

Hasan Ali can dance as much as he wants on the border, for all I care. And you can defend him as much as you want. Neither his dance hurts Indian army, nor it is some kind of bravery to dance on your side of the border, it's the silliness, and lack of tehzeeb or manners, that was in question, and if you want to defend it then be my guest.

Any Indian who is passionate about Modi & his party's politics, its a clear indication he is passionately anti muslim and anti Pakistani by heart.

Everyone has recommended it at least,for the good editing and crisp flow, Vicky Kaushal seems to be rising very well, in one movie he played an ISI officier -Raazi and now an Indian army one, versatility yo :P

It also is major.come.back of Ronnie Screwala who I genuinely liked before he sold off to Dizney..so glad he made profit.

When emotions calm down of PPers, they should ask themselves one simple question - why would Indian team chant anti Pakistani slogan in a series they won against NZ? Do you really think Indian cricketers think about Pakistan so much? Leave it to your judgement on.
 
When I read the title of the thread, I was sort of ashamed of the Indian team. When I saw the video, it turned out to be nothing. Josh has got nothing to do with Pakistan. Theres no relevance at all.
 
It's amazing how the Pakistani's believe the world revolves about them. India team celebrates with Indian army slogan in NZ and they think it's about them :wahab2:hasan2

I find it hilarious that people from both countries are so jazbati and easy to wind up. A simple chant or a simple walk can cause them to lose their mind.

What i argued was when Indian's brought in Hassan Ali in the convo and when i showed them the mirror they started differentiating on the basis of semantics.

What Hasan Ali did was quite stupid.

He insulted the Indian armed forces under the protection of international border.

If he had real guts he should have confronted Indian fauji one on one who wwould have beaten him endlessly.

I may have my issues with Pakistan political forces and policies but i have utmost respect for Pakistan armed forces who toil hard for nation's security and interests. Put their life on the line for the motherland.

Just saw the Hassan Ali video, admittedly first time properly. I think it was clownish for sure, but certainly not something to get offended by, at least as far as I am concerned. Idea of India is far bigger than to get sullied by such clownish acts.

But I think we are living in such times where everyone is offended so easily.

have you seen Ravi Shirivastav's video on Wagah border where he is singing songs mocking Pakistani players and a BSF girl is holding the mic for him? I doubt any armed force can get lower than this but i am sure Indian forces have already shown that in Kashmir where they regularly conduct terrorism and have destroyed countless families.

As for human right violations by armed forced i have 100% zero tolerance policy and condemn it from any side.

Poor army men are there to serve their duty. Fight wars they did not ask for and give their life for the country. They must be respected.

Remember Siachin. Hats off to Siachin soldiers. It is for them that i stand for national anthem before every movie.

I honestly didnt care about both incidents but the fact Hassan's incident was mentioned by certain posters made me post that. Also, what Indian team did was absolutely harmless and i have no issues with that. However, the movie itself and its content must be embarrassing for your armed forces themselves. Who wants to bask in fake made up glory?


Regarding human rights violation, i feel its a separate topic and something that can be discussed to death. Whatever happening in Kashmir is not right and is state sponsored terrorism from the Indian side.

Protecting borders, and protecting from invaders is something else.

The whole matter is intangible. Arguments have loooong gone imho.

Look at the obsession of painting Pakistan as a 'terrorist country'. In movies, music industry, sports or whatever. And I do realize not all Indians think like that (Thanks to God) and I also realize not all Pakistanis are the epitome of goodness. There be bad elements in Pakistan, we know that. But the kind of propaganda they are feeding to young minds will only breed hate towards Pakistan.

Imran Khan, when elected as PM, in his 1st address to nation mentioned how India are trying to paint him as some villain who is out to destroy India or some similar evil plan :facepalm:

Now all this to what mean? Well, the Indian rulers need Pakistan as the bogeyman to divert Indians' attention from the real issues... like corruption or poverty or education or poor farmers committing mass suicides or Kashmir (do y'all even consider them Indians?) etc. etc.

This whole hateful manipulation is not based on facts.

And I said the same thing in a TP thread when Zardari was using the Kashmir issue to divert attention from looted money of poor of Sindhs.

I can bet my hard earned Euros that if there were a mechanism to measure it would prove that I care more for India than these clown desh-bhaghts.

Frankly I never heard about the movie and they can make movies on any topic they want , secondly if you have never watched this movie you would never know what dialogue this movie was from. Thirdly a pakistani would have to watch that movie to know that what movie that dialogue was from and i would not watch that movie honestly. So lets just assume that was just a team thing or slogan or whatever.
