I have two questions for you.
1.Ok let's assume you are right and Babar can't be compared to Kohli because Babar's SR is 130 and Virat's SR is 137.
Can Virat be compared to Finch whose SR is 148?
2. You say we can't be top notch with a SR under 130.
Virat Kohli's overall T20I wolrd cup SR is under 130. Is he still a top t20 world cup player?
Finch is a good T20I player but his stats are inflated by the one knock he got vs Zimbabwe, he scored 172 of 76 balls something. Moreover, his World T20I record is quite underwhelming at the same time. I don't even recall a single great knock in WT20I from him, let alone a WT20 knockout.
In contrast, Virat's impact in WT20 is simply phenomenal. He has been player of tournament in two tournaments, WT20 2014 and WT20 2016.
While stats are a good parameter but if there is one format where averages and runs can be the most misleading, it is T20Is. KL Rahul's average/strike rate combo is 40+ at 143. But unless he does something in World Tournaments he won't be rated very highly. A poster above was laughing on KL based on his two failures here. He still has a lot of chances to prove himself in WT20Is. Finch, however, has done nothing in WT20Is and he has been playing from almost 10 years.
Virat Kohli has got great average and his strike rate is excellent coupled with two player of tournaments in WT20Is and a couple of match winning knocks in knockouts too. He is basically a GOAT T20I player.
Babar did well this year but he hasn't won any knockout game yet, his only good knock vs decent opposition out of 4 matches he played ( India, New Zealand, Afghanistan and Australia) was against India and that match,to be honest, had standout performers in Shaheen and Rizwan. There is absolutely no comparison between Babar and Kohli at this stage, Babar has a long way to go. If this doesn't help you, then we are wasting our time being in a wrong boat.
