Any sensible board or captain will select haris over fraud finisher iftikhar who is yet to finish a match on his own...but its pakistan, so we can expect iftikhar to continue playing till next world cup and finishing match against nepal, hong kong and china...

I probably watch more cricket than you do.
He played some great cameos. For example, he scored 94* against New Zealand once. There are also other useful innings (for example, 47 against Sri Lanka).
He bats down the order. So, he doesn't always get the opportunity to play a long innings.
His bowling is handy in ODI and T20. He is a better spinner than other Pakistani spinners currently (Nawaz, Shadab etc.).

Iftikhar has done well than all of the Pakistani spinners in the World Cup. He is a more utility player than shadab and nawaz on a current form basis. He should definitely be playing considering he bats lower down the order and can hit the ball hard.

Iftikhar needs to go his time is up. We need to start investing in Haris. Haris has a lot of potential but no temperament whatsoever.
Haris needs to play a lot of FC cricket but unfortunately, he busy with the team and we have only 7 FC games which is no way near enough.
