This is just not done...the man has become PLAYER OF THE TOURNAMENT in a WORLD ICC tournament & u still speak this way saying he is ordinary player ,who luckily perform all the tym :(

Jaddu has managed to not miss us Irfan of old and Yuvraj in Odis. Now, this is huge complement.

Still think Yuvi might be back somehow!

What an asset he is proving out to be for Indian Cricket. He has filled the gap of all rounder in Indian T 20 and ODI team
 
Myself praising Sir Ravindra Jadeja will be like trying to seek attention! All I know is that I am so proud to have made this thread. A great all-rounder he is! It's time to leave aside the jokes for a moment and praise one very hard working cricketer who has had to cope a lot of abuse in his life.

Remember ICC World T20 2009, in England, where all the criticism started? Fours years after, it's England again!
 
^exactly what I mentioned two posts back ...it is almost like a film script ...going back to the venue of his darkest hour and being the driving force behind the team's win.

RJ is currently the BEST ALROUNDER in world by a huge-huge margin! I don't think anybody else comes as effective as him at the moment.

He is best left arm spinner in the world at this moment (maybe among Top 3 spin bowlers of world)
He is one of the best finishers in ODI (maybe among Top 10)
He is one of the best fielder in the world, especially with those runout direct hits (easily maybe among Top 5 fielders of world today)

I don't think anyone on earth at the moment has all these three attributes together! That is why he is truly called as "Sir" and that's why India is winning so many matches of late :)
 
who say's that pakistani bowlers are better than anyone else... i would say indian bowlers specially Jadaja is better bowler than Sayed Ajmal
 
Sir is having an average of 14.26 in bowling for year 2013.
What a great year he is having.

He he hee..... I think one thing I have to admit. Stats wise jadejaa is pawning Ajmal now.
So all in all it seems Sir Jadejaa is making a triangle

Always said he has great potential.
 
He has the best average, best economy rate and best strike rate for a bowler this year! He has simply rocked!

Yuvi may now compete with Raina for that spot. RJ has cemented his spot for sometime.

I think the team still can absorb Yuvi once he is back in form again. Murli could give way to Yuvi in top 15.
 
Yuvaraj/Rahane/Rohith/Karthik fight for the 2 spots. (I am sure Gauti and Sehwag are too far from it). Difficult to replace Raina (He is too good a finisher at Home. At home you cannot afford to remove him. His experience, fielding, bits of bowling will keep him in the side)

I think Gauti will be in for competition at some point. He is still young and can get back to form. Sehwag may have lost that now due to age factor.

It's a good problem to have that for 2 slots there are 5 guys competing and all of them are good enough.
 
Will ICC reward him in their annual function this time? Guess he will get a few nominations. In bowling and all rounder categories.

He'll definitely get all rounder of the year, the bowling one will be tricky but he'll probably be a front runner.

best ODI bowler is McC .... hands down....
I feel India is lucky to have avoided NZ in semis.
 
Jadeja has been fantastic . Does provide crucial balance & edge to our bowling as a all-rounder ,more so in tests in home conditions .

Sir Ravindra Jadeja is reacting exactly like how I do seeing a Paratha:))). It´s like as if the trophy is some hot, boiled stuff, or something, that can´t be touched just as yet:))).
 
Don't know how to say this..... just woke up to a nightmare where I didn't find Sir Jadeja jokes funny anymore.
Yeahh....I know it was just a dream..but still, WHY WOULD GOD DO THAT TO ME ??!! I am too disturbed.. Why me ?
 
Hyped for 6 good months.

I like him as a player, he's come back from being disgraced, but really, hyping on form is wrong.

Nope; a hat-trick does not carry to the next game from what I know.
 
I think it wasnt that bad.Jaddu seemed unhappy and made it known.dont think they were fighting.In the end they walked off together laughing

It's counted as a hat-trick if the third wicket is taken in the second innings and not the next test. I never understood the logic behind it.

Yup, a hat-trick can be carried to the next innings of the same (Test) match.
 
Can't bat under pressure. Only gets wickets against rubbish batsman most of the time.

Sad thing is that those 4 wickets of hauls despite being against lower order batsman could bring him to number 2 or even 1 in the ODI bowler rankings. But it just shows how flawed the ICC rankings are and India being top :D

It always has been like that. Just cuz an Indian bowler is getting there, that ofc wont be digested with ease by few.
Winners of 2 major ODI tournaments deserve to be holding the top post.


On topic:
Jadeja has been doing pretty decently since his comeback now. Good contributions with ball and bat, and is a livewire on the field as well. i think Yuvi's place has been filled quite decently. Let's hope he keeps churning good performances.
 
My bad. Jadeja slipped in bowlers ranking to number 5. Guess the rankings also take in the factor who you get your wickets against and when. Also dropped in the ODI all-round rankings to number 5.

6 matches 60 overs,economy of 5.58 and 8 wickets, easily the best bowler of the series another stunning performance when you think 6.70 was the average RR throughout the series

Not only Jadeja, Ashwin also ended up as the highest wicket taker and Shami ended up as the bowler with best Strike rate 22 and best average 20 and also the 3rd highest wicket taker ,
I feel It's the bowling that was the main difference between Aus and Ind with India picking up 31wickets among their 4 bowlers from 5 matches on an avg from the bowlers whereas only Johnson managed to take 7 wickets from the aussies,both Ashwin and Jadeja conceeded less than 6 RPO which is astonishing in context of the series
