In the history books the same as those who fail in Semi Finals.
Then why exactly were you talking about 6 time semi finalists? In the history books the same as those who fail in Semi Finals.
That would mean every finalist who lost in the finals is the same as those were knocked out in the league round. No it isn't.
What a lame comeback lol. Maybe read my first comment in this thread to ease your pain. I took it lightly and don't take his comments seriously anyway but you are defending his comment like he paid you for it. Look at the comments of other Indians in this thread. Do they look triggered to you? Why do you go an extra mile to prove your patriotism here? Is there any guilt lol?![]()
LOL you should know me by now that I always call spade a spade and give my opinion irrespective of how unpopular it is. I don't need anyone to pay me for it. Sehwag is simply giving it back to the Pakistani's after all they have said when India was down and out last year. I see nothing wrong it and fully support it.
two wrongs dont make a rightPls don't get so dramatic. He never mentioned body bags and all. He just used the word Zindabaad in the form of banter as Zindabhaag after Pak team got eliminated from the world cup. Agreed it was in poor taste and I was also not in favour of that yesterday. But after he posted those screenshots, I can understand where exactly he is coming from. Some of the comments came from Pak side was absolutely crass and Sehwag responded in similar tone.
One would troll politcal guests like Zardari Jnr but never visiting sports folks, my 2centsLike I said, we can clearly see your true colours on this forum.
If one feels that Zindabhag is fine to say to your guests then I am afraid one's character shows clearly.

One of those rare moment when I agree with you Miggy saab.Apparently the word India was mentioned and the usual brigade came running to try and deflect blame.
We saw that in the Shami thread - we are seeing it again. Very disappointing but expected.

two wrongs dont make a right
Totally expected from an andhbhakht like you. From 'atithi devo bhava' to 'atithi zinda bhagaao bhava'. Thank you Modi.Lets not get into each other's character brother. We can agree to disagree and that is the entire purpose of debates in a forum.
Just like you, I have the right to have an opinion and if it is contrary to yours, that doesn't make me someone with bad character.
That would mean every finalist who lost in the finals is the same as those were knocked out in the league round.
Why?Then why exactly were you talking about 6 time semi finalists?![]()

Again two wrongs don't make a rightRespect is a two way street brother.
Again two wrongs don't make a right
Well there was never any doubt about that.I support and endorse this.

Mate dont tell me how world works, probably know better than you. Lets agree to disagree but please dont patronise me, I probably have accrued more age, experience and way of this world. ThanksThat's not how the world works. Never did.
My team is in the semi final. Think about your team England which couldn't even make it to top 6 let alone semi final of the world cup.Atithi has been treated with utmost respect and with some delicious biryani's. This tweet was not directed towards Atithi but to the people who were laughing at us last year. It is called giving it back in the exact same language one receive.
You are unnecessarily getting riled up and resorting to name calling. Looks like your team's poor on field performance taking a toll on you. Not seeing you in match threads or general cricket threads enough either. Don't worry T20 cricket will return soon and Pak will start winning again![]()
U motivated him with your name….ppls enjoying trash said ex-pak cricketers against BCCI, India, team India, Virat Kohli and If Sehwag gives one back then they r complaining it is not digestibleHad he got inspiration from me, he would have said 'Bhaag Zinda Bhaag'
Yep that’s why they lost. For the sake of personal safety. What he is trying to say is that if Pakistan had inadvertently won the World Cup, they would not have made it out of India alive.
I agree and am glad we froze before knockouts.
Life is more important than a tournament in India.
Always better to live like chicken than a dead duck.
By this logic, Pakistan is comparable to Bermuda, Ireland, Scotland, and of course, Zimbabwe. In the history books the same as those who fail in Semi Finals.
He deserves it. He was a revolutionary at the opening position.Big news guys. Sehwag has been inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame.
By this logic, Pakistan is comparable to Bermuda, Ireland, Scotland, and of course, Zimbabwe.
And just as I say that, I realize you are right, Pakistan is indeed at their level. For those are all countries that received a rough pounding from Afghanistan. Lolz
Still one the best openers in his era.zero class, zero footwork.
Your criteria is highly subjective and in the eyes of almost 1 billion Indians he is a role model. The type of comic he is. Not happy to see him in ICC Hall of Fame.
Only mature veterans and role models deserve to be in ICC Hall of Fame.
If you're talking about skill sets and revolutionary opening approach, Matthew Hayden is far ahead of him. Also, Shahid Afridi was the one who introduced an aggressive approach as an opener.Your criteria is highly subjective and in the eyes of almost 1 billion Indians he is a role model.
Hall of fame should only be for cricketing reasons else it will become politicised.
Jayasuria and not Afridi was the one who introduced aggressive approach. If you're talking about skill sets and revolutionary opening approach, Matthew Hayden is far ahead of him. Also, Shahid Afridi was the one who introduced an aggressive approach as an opener.
Jayasuria and not Afridi was the one who introduced aggressive approach.
Sehwag was revolutionary as a test bat opener though.
True probably recency bias, when Sehwag came he was considered to be his successor from our end.No one is mentioning Srikanth
And Mark Greatbatch! No one is mentioning Srikanth
No Srikanth introduced the idea of going all guns blazing at the top.Jayasuria and not Afridi was the one who introduced aggressive approach.
Sehwag was revolutionary as a test bat opener though.
It is basically not an idea. That is how he plays. That is his nature. He was not used as part of the strategy like Greatbatch, and Jayasuriya were used. Even in domestic that is how he played. Wider stance. Incredible eye for picking the length. Fearless attitude. It made the life of Sunny a lot easier. Sure he could defend when needed. But basically mindset is to go after bowling. Definitely way ahead of time.No Srikanth introduced the idea of going all guns blazing at the top.
This is 20 year old newsSehwag is so un-indian kind of superstar cricketers the country has produced. Usually all our legends are well behaved, mostly talk sense and are respectful towards others. Sehwag for a lack of better word is an uncouth person.
He said that Bangladesh is an ordinary team when India toured Bangladesh in early 2010.This is 20 year old newsI thought everyone knew this by now. I think he said something about Bangladesh in 2011. Ordinary or something. There was an uproar among Bangladesh fans. He can also be hyperbolic as well. He can go overboard with appreciation of some players. Just the nature of the beast. He doesn't have much knowledge about Indian cricket history either. Bit rustic.
Srikanth & Slater were the original trailblazers, the leather hunters. Sri was very successful in odi's, not so much in test cricket. Slater was successful in test cricket, just didn't get enough opportunities in odi's due to intense competition from Waugh, Taylor & later Gilchrist. Whatever Shewag, Hayden, Dilshan & Warner did or Sanath/Afridi attempted to do would never happen if Slater would fail. He doesn't get the recognization simply because he is not desi. But objectively he is the first successful test opener who played proper aggressive cricket & treated the job more as an odi opener.Jayasuria and not Afridi was the one who introduced aggressive approach.
Sehwag was revolutionary as a test bat opener though.
They are all the same as Sehwag. There’s no better or worse when it comes to mud slinging. He is probably the most crass individual associated with Indian cricket but he is an absolute gentleman compared to the likes of some journalists, Waqar Younis, Sohail Tanvir, Abdul Razzaq, Shahid Afridi and Umar Gul(for applauding Razzaq).![]()
My team is in the semi final. Think about your team England which couldn't even make it to top 6 let alone semi final of the world cup.![]()

They are all the same. It’s a eye for an eye kind of game and they know how to play this game dirty, not with any class. They are all the same as Sehwag. There’s no better or worse when it comes to mud slinging.
Sehwag uses this excuse of “but they did it first!!!”, when he also comes out with a lot of filth on his own end, unprovoked.
Funny from sehwag and he is right .Sehwag is a full-time comedian; he never misses an opportunity to gain recognition as the best comedian among the Indian cricket fraternity.

Yes Pakistan should do that at home in next home session so they can win atleast one test matches .A couple of tests with doctored pitches should do the job no need to resort to food poisoning eng & blocking toilets.
