What's new

West Indies [219 & 373] beat Zimbabwe [159 & 316] by 117 runs in the 1st Test, lead series 1-0

213/4.

Zimbabwe fighting very hard. If this partnership goes beyond 100 runs. Zimbabwe will have a very strong chance.

220 runs needed with 6 in hand is hardly impossible.

Raza throws it away
really pathetic shot after settling in

It was on of course, but terrible execution. Should have been an easy boundary in the area Waller hit his first ball for four. Absolutely critical as well. Zimbabwe would have been prohibitive favourites if that partnership had gone on another 10 or 12 overs.

yes that was hit me ball and raza played that pathetic cut insted of hitting it anywhere

Zimbabwe blew it in the first innings with a horrible batting display.

They had a good first day but went to sleep after that, albeit with some resistance with the bat today.

Still some signs of progress, need more from the middle order in the next Test.
