I think they are desperate for some WC qualification scenarios. There are some higher scoring grounds now in BD like Chittagong, Sylhet, Rajshai.

Next WC will be in RSA where pacers will dominate plus you need pace bowling all-rounder. Saifuddin is our best pace all-rounder but BCB never worked on developing his game.

Even I as a layman knows we should be playing in sporting wickets with pace dominating even if it means playing qualifiers.

Pak also plays on literal roads in white ball

Same for India

But even before that , teams could choose to do so if they agreed on it bilaterally.

Irrespective of the rankings, the modus operandi is same.in last 9 matches at colombo, batting team won 9 times and opposition batted only once.sri Lanka hosts odi series in colombo only.similarly will trust their toss and pitch just like lankans.they will conduct majority /entority of the series with out any shame.unlike bng, lanka always flew under the radar.
