England set for another 550-600 total here and again all pressure will be on W.I batting which so far in series hasnt flopped!

However they need to make some changes in the bowling the likes of powell are not good enough!

Also fielding is a joke!

Collyflower does a KP - OUT for 96! Tried to get to his century with a SIX!

467-5

Powell is a seriously weak link in this bowling line up - surely there has got to be a better bowler out there?

Also, where's Dwayne Bravo these days?

Pathetic fielding continues

Keeper drops a sitter!!!

Ambrose survives on 0

11 catches must have gone down

He had an ankle??? surgery last fall. Earlier this year his expected return was this test series and now WI board is saying maybe the ODI series. I heard he maybe playing some club cricket now to get back in shape

Windies fielding will drive anyone insane. England could have been far worse situation. Now they are sitting pretty at 472 for 5.

500-5 off 138 overs

Eng will have to push on & declare soon.

Ravinder get his hundred perhaps?

Is this pitch no a travesty as 'Karachi' was...

Why is there one rule for one and another rule for another!!!!!!!

I guess england will be looking to get 600 here and Bopara will be looking for a maiden test ton.

I think england should be looking to have atleast 20 overs at W.I tonight.

RS Bopara 91* (133b 7x4 1x6) TR Ambrose 67* (82b 8x4 2x6)
England 568/5 (149.0 ov)
Last 10 ovs 65/0 RR 6.50
31 overs remaining today

Ravinder Bopara gets his maiden test century

Great knock!

Bopara 100 off 140 balls
partnership 109 runs, 21.0 overs, RR: 5.19 (Ambrose 70, Bopara 37)

150.3 Edwards to Bopara, OUT, got him at last! Edwards has his man, dropping it short and Bopara went on the pull, skying it straight down fine-leg's throat

Taylor's caught him at long last. That dropped catch cost West Indies exactly 100 runs. Well what a knock that was. He showed all his shots and a calm disposition at the crease. It's a really big moment for him and England

Edwards has been phenomenal all day.

He's still banging it at 91 mph!

He was like that yesterday too Oxy. Had a few chances spilled off his bowling and bowled around the 90 mph mark all day. He must be one great athlete.

Eng have slowed right down - Strauss will have to consider the declaration soon

Timing of the declaration is perfect. The English bowlers have more than an hour to try and get some important wickets before the end of today's play.

W.I have to bat well tonight and pretty much bat as well as they did in last two tests. I can see England bowlers enjoying the bounce in this wicket.

A 600-plus total is a absolute rarity in England's Test history - they've managed it 16 times in 883 Tests. And that, my friends, is a factoid.

Another factoid, Wales are about to take on France in the Six Nations. Follow the action live right now on Scrum.com

And thats what I'll be watching for the next 2 hrs or so....

Gayle gone LBW 13/1

Huge blow for the west indies.

Anderson gets him after a referral.

4.5 Anderson to Gayle, OUT, huge shout, and that was a massive inducker that Gayle didn't read at all ... Umpire Tiffin says no, and it's probably a good shout. England ponder for a moment, and finally go for the referral. The replay shows it pitches just inside the line and is heading for leg stump ... Tiffin reverses his decision, and off Gayle goes!

CH Gayle lbw b Anderson 6 (16b 1x4 0x6) SR: 37.50

No wonder every test playing nation will copy Younus Khan for his bravery! Gayle sent in Sarwan instead of a nightwatchmen.

loll myy badd. I checked scorecard from cricinfo and I got confused I thought the day 2 had ended.

Stumps Day 2
Sarwan 40(56) Smith 37(60)
Current Partnership: 72 runs, 17.1 overs, RR: 4.19 (Sarwan 40, Smith 30)
WI 85-1 after 22 overs - trails by 515 runs

W.I fought back well here! Sarwan in top form again. England will need some realy wickets tomorrow!

Same as Antigua, looks like a pitch that rewards the hard-working bowlers and batsmen, and punishes the slack ones. if we bowl them out tomorrow basically its a decent chance of winning the game, we nearly did it from a similar position last time, must must must go one better! or we could begin the road to losing the Wisden trophy I presume, which is really showing its value now we have a close series between the teams again!

This Strauss is definitely not a captain material. Sooner they get rid of him before Ashes is the better.

Yesterday Edwards bowling was fast and furious. Like old days. It is entirely upto England to force the issue as they are behind the series. If they don't win this they cannot win the series. They will either have to settle for draw or series loss.

wayward bouncer by broad he too seems frustrated...or is he just trying something else and hoping the batsman makes a mistake?

Pitch does have lot of bounce in it. Last one took off. Broad is nicely working his way through Sarwan. That over was fascinating to watch.

Sarwan looking to go big here!!! Anderson all over the place, he tends to do that!!!
