Just block block block and then a attacking shot is just poor cricket. The problem is apart from Shiv how many of these guys know how to construct a long inns or even rotate the strike properly. Indian bowlers are being allowed to settle with ease here and things are going way to slow for W.I

It's a matter of perception, and the 2 umps perceived similar 'shots' in different ways. Wonder what would have happened with Sarwan had UDRS been there and the decision appealed?

I agree. Gould's perception was way off imo. Sarwan was facing a quick bowler and the ball jagged in at decent pace. He only faced a few balls so was late on getting the bat down. His initial thought was to leave but once he saw the ball jag back in he did try to bring his bat down, thus offering a shot.

As for DRS the decision would have stuck with the umpire, it can't decide whether the batter was offering a shot or not.

Bravo looking decent out there, found some form in the last ODI on the same ground and similar pitch.
