Man, suddenly having Misbah doing tuk tuk till tomorrow lunch doesn't look so bad now does it?
 
The sky sports presenter has changes his mind, seemed very bored at lunch.
 
So done with shafiq. He really needs to be droppes. A no 6 is supposed to lift the rr. He really is pathetic.

And then people ask why misbah bats for time. Cause he knows once he gets out the others wont do much!

Hope we somehow get to 400...
 
I stepped away when we were 315 odd for 4 and looking comfortable and now we are 329 for 7 :facepalm:

He's not watching the game, just runs to the mic to record the intro and outro between sessions.

Garbage innings from Shafiq. Usman Salahuddin should come in his place for the third test.
 
Pakistan are just not ruthless enough. We don't drive home an advantage and kill a game, instead we allow teams back in.

Let's try to get to 400, the tail needs to show something here.
 
Horrible passage of play. Misbah unlucky. But this is the problem when crawling along a few wickets and suddenly West Indies are back in it. Should of had a good lead by now.

But now it's down to the bowlers to push the lead as far as possible.

So much for batting once
 
If WI can wrap up our innings with only 50 or less runs deficit then they'll be in the driving seat , even a 100 run target will be very tricky for our tuk tuk brigade.
 
Abhi buhat batting baqi hai.


Shadab is a proper bat and Amir + Yasir is equal to another batsman as well.

Expect the last three wickets to take the lead to 100.

It's always the way isn't it?

No matter how much you tell people that the pitch isn't easy to bat on, they will whinge and claim Sarfraz should come in and score 70 from 40 balls.

Then when it turns out that the pitch really isn't easy to bat on, they will whinge and try and blame the guys that stuck around and scored runs rather than the guys who threw their wickets away cheaply.

Still, looking forward to watching Shadab bat. Let's see if he has the makings of an all-rounder.

One bad innings and people forget all the great innings a player played. Shafiq is the best Pakistani batsman after Younis, Azhar. Will end up as one of our best ever. Stop the negativity.
 
Why do people have so many hopes from Shadab and calling him a proper bat

Every so called all rounder we get turns out to be a glorified tailender

Listen.. I'm a fan of Shafiq too, but to think that he would be even anywhere near our best ever is OUTLANDISH.

That's because some of us have actually seen him bat at the u19 level or PSL.

Hopefully we can get a lead of at least 70 here, will be tough though

He will. He has strong batting basics to come back. Funny how people forgot the gem that he played recently in Australia.

Pathetic people we are. Proven. Just because he didn't score those last few runs makes his innings useless. We deserve the kind of players we produce. Such ungratefulness. :(:facepalm:
 
Shafiq is so slow to mature! All these years in the game and he still plays around the ball to get LBW. Anyway, what's the point of having a plodder at #6? You can't keep blocking when there's only one proper batsman (Sarfraz) to follow.

Forgot the record breaking #6 hundreds he made? Hundreds against England, Sri Lanks et al? You don't need me man, just browse cricinfo. His hundred at Brisbane was of much higher quality than some of the match winning hundreds you will see. First learn to appreciate and understand cricket. Cricket is not just about winning.
 
Whats so special about Holder's bowling? Why our batsmen struggle to score against him?

Quality is when you come to bat and help your team fight back. Not score big in 4th innings when matches are lost.

He hardly scores in 1st innings under pressure. That is poor cricket.

Shadab is an excellent prospect.. look at his focus he can work on his batting and can become a better option than Imad.
 
Shady will become a better LOI bat by playing more tests..
 
Want Shadab to bat more in international cricket. Think he will improve further with the bat if he is allowed to bat more.
