Good pace from the Sri Lankan quickie.

And I am sure the caption said he's fast medium!

5th over

Vaas to Gayle: On the legs and flicked to fine leg by Gayle, 1 run
Vaas to Bravo: Pushed to mid on, Bravo wants the run but Gayle doesnt move, no run
Vaas to Bravo: Pushed into the offside, Bravo sets off quickly and a single is taken. 1 run
Vaas to Gayle: Straight ball and a perfect forward defensive played, no run
Vaas to Gayle: NO BALL Good ball just nipping away from the left hander and a play and miss.
Vaas to Gayle: Swinging away outside off, no shot offered
Vaas to Gayle: Plyaed with soft hands down the third man. 1 run

4 off the over, 18/0 off 6

Miles in the air and Gayle is gone. He tried to slog him out of the ground and all he did was sky it. Dreadful shot. Caught at mid off.

20/1 off 5.2

Gayle hits it in the air..... Dilhara under a steep one at mid off... good catch - 20-1
Malinga strikes 20-1

Vaas to Chanderpaul
6.1 dot ball
6.2 beats the bat... good delivery
6.3 dot, push to short cover
6.4 another dot

Vass has 41 world cup wickets at an average of 20.63 (no 4 in the list)
6.5 another dot
6.6 another dot

Rambo says seven were bowled...

Dilhara coming on to bowl .... 32-1 from 7
Chanderpaul 0
Bravo 15

I actually found that so hard to believe I had to find a stream and see for myself.

That says as much about this tournament as needs to be said.

Strange move to have Gayle and Bravo opening. Gayle is really having a shocker of a tournament!

4 to Bravo through extra cover, 37/1

Dilhara crosses himself as he begins his spell
7.1 No ball.... but a very good yorker
7.2 full and powerful drive on the offside ... rambo uses words like classy
7.3 hit well, but silva gets down to it in the point region
Slip comes out
7.4 dot ball
7.5 dot ball
7.6 dot... hits on the legs
7.6 one run to square leg
39-1 8 overs

Target 304
Vaas resumes
8.1 dot
8.2 1 to 3rd man goes passed 3rd slip
Lots of people sleeping in the crowd
8.3 inside edge and Bravo is goneeeee

Actually no edge ... jus slips into his pads and goes on

Bravo b. Vass 21 runs

Lara comes in
8.4 dot ball
8.5 dot ball
Sri Lanka were 35-2 after 9
8.6 2 runs for Lara

Windies are 42-2 after 9... need a partnership like Jaysuria and Jaywardne

There's only 1 thing that stands between Sri Lanka and victory at this point.

In fact, he just walked in.

CLEAN BOWLED! I am saying this pretty late. He bowled him like 5 mins ago.
Yeah, this is the same game Sri Lanka was playing. West Indies need a Jayasuria/Jayawardene tribute.

Lara in. I want to see a special, and Lara vs Murali, will be special!

I think Lara is stumped here... excellent work by Sanga... standing up to Vaas

Sangakarra has been superb with gloves on in whole tourney!

42-3 10.1 overs Target 304

Sarwan coming in ... looking to the skies....
Has the fiddling around in batting order back fired?

He is given?
I think my link is showing slow.
OH! Now he's out. BYEBYE WEST INDIES! YOU LOSE ON YOUR HOME GROUND! AHAHAHHA
You know if they lose this then they need to win the other three. Which they won't. Cuz they have to play against South AFRICA! THEY MIGHT EVEN LOSE TO ENGLAND AND IRELAND! HAAHHAH :))) :))) :))) :))) :))) :)))

I think its Bye Bye to West Indies. More thinner Crowds for the World Cup

Fantastic work by the best wicketkeeper/batsman in the world dismisses the genius. Quite brilliant.

Yup. They will lose to South Africa. The only way they can stay is if win the next three matches. Then they can be able to pass.

In the older times Fast bowlers would have considered it a big blot to their reputation. Fancy a fast bowler getting a wicket by stumping..

Vaas should not really be considered a 'fast' bowler, more like slow left arm. :)))

controlled line, length and disguising swing of Vaas is just amazing...

57-3 part timers on... mayber trying to get the overs through as there maybe a threat of rain

required rate 7.5

Fernando to Sarwan: Yorker length ball outside off stump, squeezed out to point, no run
Fernando to Sarwan: Just on off stump, thick inside edge into the legside, no run

there are about 5 sri lankans in the crowd... and one of them look like malinga

Sri lankas fielding compared to other Asian sides is light years apart.

Dilshan is simply brilliant!

Geordie Ahmed.... yes he was stumped... excellent work by Sanga

amazing shot from Chanderpaul.. straight 6.. charge Murali straight out of the ground..

Not sure if the Windies ever really had any desire to win this match

100 up with 30 overs gone. West Indies need a miracle. Smith must be in next.
