West Indies Vs Australia | 3rd test | Barbados | 12/06/2008 - 14/06/2008

That was alleged by Bob Woolmer, it is not a fact.

Are you questioning the late Woolmer's integrity? If so that is pretty poor. Bob made a note of each decision that went against a side and came up with a tally. Fact is your side does get away with the umpiring like it did in Hobart '99 (now whether you use the excuse of a "dominant team" or whatever is up to you).

I am not questioning Woolmer's integrity but just because his opinion as coach of Pakistan was that x number of decisions went against Pakistan does not make it a fact.

How does a team "get away" with umpiring? The teams have no control over the umpires.

Hobart '99, Symonds in this Test, etc.

The team has no control over the umpires. And if you want to keep bringing up an example nearly ten years old, maybe I can go back 20 years and bring up some home umpiring that might just have favoured Pakistan. :13:

Not ten - eight and a half, and also just two Pakistani tours of Australia ago. 20 years ago is like another planet for all purposes.

Well in all fairness its not Austrailia's fault if they get benefit from incompetent umpires that are intimidated by them for whatever reasons. They also lost the Ashes in 2005 due to one umpiring decision against Kasper as I remember it.

Other teams should stop complaining and try to compete them by raising their current standards.

As of this match, West Indies missed a lot of chances and they dropped Symonds before Mark Blindson made that mistake so if Windies were a good fielding side Symonds would have been long gone even before that wrong decision.

I dont think anyone is faulting auss. i am just saying that players r not

for fairplay anymore...win at all costs mentallity. This not walking attitude was started by the aussis and thats a fact :p

aussis all seem to think alike...There was a discussion in the commentary booth about having technology for correcting mistakes made by the standing umpire. LO AND BEHOLD ONLY THE AUSS COMMENTATORS WERE AGAINST IT. Why may i ask? The answer is your team benefits MORE
OFTEN THAN NOT from mistakes by the umpires....as seen in this current series.... STOP MAKING WEAK EXCUSES THATS A FACT.....though no fault
of your team :9:

No kidding the Auss commentators are against it. And so is the team and so is Cricket Australia.

Watch what a mess things become when they bring it in....

if umpire is sure or not, it should be referred.. 3rd umpire using technology can agree or overrule the decision.

seems fairer to me

Only thing it will slow the game down a bit, but atleast it will be FAIR

Sohail Khan comes charging in, he is really fired up now....bowls and it's a big inswinging yorker and Pakistan appeal!!! Ponting looks up at the umpire and....the umpire looks back and......grabs his walkie talkie....Pakistan stop their appeal and maybe celebration.....it's gone to the third umpire.....the batsman confer.....Khan has a chat to his captain (insert random Pakistani here)......we wait.....look at the screen.....watch a few ads for Pepsi......and the IPL......wait.....wait.......wait......out! Sohail Khan does the aeroplane and runs all over the ground with the entire team following him.....wait....the umpires confer.....the screen now says Not Out!...what is going on?.....is he out or not.....now apparently we are told the third umpire Sourav Ganguly has pressed the wrong button....now it has been referred to the fourth umpire!! :batman:

Well the 'laptop' man had all things documented & itemised when he made his feelings known.

He did pioneer the use of this technology after all. Just because he didnt release the info publically to cricinfo doesnt mean it should be dismissed

Casson LBW Edwards
Aus 244-8 after 63.1
Hawkeye says going down the leg side. Close enough for Aleem Dar

63.1 Edwards to Casson, OUT, that's what Edwards was looking for, a good inswinger right on line, Casson can't get bat on this one and it hits him on the front pad in line, Aleem Dar raises the finger and Casson is gone
B Casson lbw b Edwards 10 (44b 1x4 0x6) SR: 22.72

Edwards was getting some late movement, once he eventually got the ball on line he did the job. Hawk-Eye suggests it might have swung too much, going down leg, but to the naked eye it looked a good shout - cricinfo

Aus on recovery mission! from lookin all out for under 200.. they steaaaaming ahead

If WI are having luck on this pitch, imagine Aus bowlers :O should be good to watch.. great test advertisement this game in terms of play

Guys if anyone has Sky Sports watch this now

Edwards has been aggressive at the tail and already he's beginning to pepper Mitchell (who's just gone as I type this)

Lee still batting and Aus 9 down - should make for good viewing if Lee goes after Edwards :D

Hohnson out ct off Taylor
Australia 245-9 after 65 overs

64.6 Taylor to Johnson, OUT, great ball, an awkward one for a lower-order player like Johnson. Taylor squeezed him up with a shortish ball aimed at the ribs, Johnson tried to work it to square leg but a leading edge flew to Benn in the gully.
MG Johnson c Benn b Taylor 0 (8b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

GODDDD Just watch this guys

Hurry up and watch this!!!! Test cricket

TWO BOUNCERS TO LEE ALREADY!!!!! AND WORDS BETWEEN THEM :D

Taylor and Edwards will be bombarded! Both been bouncing since yesterday! most of the teams extras were off his high bouncing 4 wides - did it many times against Haddin and Symmo

even the commentators were saying, oh no not again!

BOUNCER 4th DELIVERY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING :D :D :D :D

GIVEN WIDE

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

LEE CUTS HIM 5Th BALL OFF OUTSIDE EDGE OVER SLIPS FOR FOURRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Dot ball, full, Edwards stares him

Short again :))) :))) well played by Lee though

SameerM said:
U think he wants to hit Lee in the same spot as last time?
I personally believe Edwards is aiming the ball between Lee's grill and helmet to make contact with Lee's skull region

Taylor HITS the number 11 on the body :D

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH almost takes his head off ALMOST!!!!

Taylor to Clark, no run, Clark gets tested out by a short one now, he ducks under it comfortably

The WI bowlers are really going to put the WI batsmen in some bother !

U think the talk of Stanfords millionsss has boosetd the WI team??
Looks like it, this is more like the West Inds

End of over 67 (maiden) - Australia 250/9

SR Clark 0* (1b) JE Taylor 11.1-3-45-3
B Lee 23* (46b 3x4 1x6) FH Edwards 16-3-55-2

66.1 Taylor to Clark, no run, Clark gets tested out by a short one now, he ducks under it comfortably

WI bowlers are too pumped up. Viv Richards on radio saying 4 short ball in an over to tail is something new

beautiful swinging yorker by Taylor to Clark and bowled him
Aus 251 all out

Bro, McGrath was bowilng bouncers in the DARK to SL batsmen last year

no mercy - play to win - sportsmanship is instinct!!

This is my calypso, this is my cricket.

Gwann in dem peffen, kill em bwoys!!!!!!
if only the bring lawson back in place of powell.

mitchell johnson will be the first to hit 90mph i imagine

What the hell is Gayle doing ?

Gayle is too lethargic for his own good! Just in

If Gayle has this groin problem then why are they taking risky runs ?

Windies need to bat carefully.. 2 day of batting 400 runs should put Aus under some pressure

see if the batsmen have the patience? i dont think they do.. except 1-2 but u never know

In my defence I thought Mitchell would open with Lee :p

AMAZING!!! Edge to the keeper 90mph GONE Chatter

This is a good pitch. The bounce is good and bowlers enjoying it

Chattergoon out ct behind of Lee
WI 11-1

Sarwan doing his wierd infuriating bail marking thing
