Dead silence.

I liked it overall - its a scary thriller and I enjoyed watching it with a group of people - the girls were screaming their heads off and it was pretty scary.

Just got back from the cinema, watched Die Hard 4.0, which is so utterly ridiculous that it's brilliant.

yep i just got back from star city aswell and saw apne. First half was ok and 2nd half was better. Overall a good film but not spectacular. Cant wait to see awarapan next week! like ive said a million times

ive watched like 3/4 of awarapun good acting by emran hashmi (thank god no kissing scene from him!!)

Last night I watched Hart's War and American History X. Both brilliant movies.

i watch Jhoom Barabar Jhoom and i liked it. It was interesting, not the typical love triangle you see in every movie.

Watched apne, 1st half was ok, 2nd half was poor and the ending was even worse.

I watched Schindler's List and The Pianist for the first time this week. Two brilliant movies I must say. You get the feeling the Jews put their hearts into making these movies that good because it means so much to them.
Two great movies. Through Schindler's List ending really got to my emotional side & made me feel all touchy from the inside:D

Watched "Bheja Fry" yesterday. Hilarious movie, and definitely one Bollywood flick that is worth checking out.

Today i watched this indian flick " Jhoom Barabar Jhoom ".... and surprisingly it wasn't as bad as the reviews suggested.. infact i quite enjoyed the movie..

this is an example of the good, the bad, and the ugly phrase.
i think bobby should have died in the end... would have had a bigger impact on the audience.

How was it? better or worse than 1 and 2?

I thought it was actually good, better than I expected.

Altho kids wouldn't get some of the jokes.

I watched the latest Harry Potter film yesterday and enjoyed it. I thought it was better than a couple of the other ones in the series.

Some of the special effects were superb and I actually managed to follow the story line.

Watched Vivah yesterday, it was amazing!! Recommend it, really well done movie.

Just saw Harry potter and the order of the phoenix

Was ok but cut a lot of the interesting bits out from the book.

yeah true. I watched it as well and it is one of the best films i have watched. Awarapan, Rang de Basanti and Vivah are all really well done films. Looks like they are starting to get the boy meets girl, father denies, later meet up again plot out of their heads...

After watching Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix
i went back and watched Harry Potter and the goblet of fire.

after watching any of these you have to start from the first movie and watch all 6

Last movie I watched was Behind Enemy Lines. I was surprised that Owen Wilson could actually act.

Before that, I saw Sunshine. It is a sci-fi movie kind of like the Core but the sun as the object in question not the core. It was surprisingly good until the last 30 minutes where things took a very bad down turn.

Before that, I saw Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix with my younger brothers in the theater, I liked the movie, it was filled with interesting parts throughout and there wasn't really any part where nothing was happening and you were wondering when it would end. The final fight was pretty good.

Just got home from the Transformers movie, pretty enjoyable film.

finally saw the departed :

good movie overall.

great directing and excellent performances from dicaprio and matt damon.

however it could have been much better-

characters development was quite poor - never understood why dicaprio wanted to be a cop or how damon became a bad guy.

Damon was a 'bad guy' as Nicholson's character was his mentor of sorts. That relationship was established at the start of the movie. Dicaprio was a cop with a shady family and because of that, Sheen and Wahlberg's characters used him for that

One day I'll watch The Departed to see what all the fuss is about. Maybe.

Saw Harry Potter and the OOTP and was impressed - far better than the other movies!

Watched Die Hard 4.0 and it was just brilliant, really enjoyed it. :D

Over the past week I saw Knocked up and an Indian movie - Shootout at Lokhanwala.

Knocked up was alright - had its funny moments but I expected it to be funnier.
I wasnt really watching Shootout properly - was on the computer while everyone else were watching it but it alright. They did take that American History X scene but Vivek Oberoi wasnt able to pull off Edward Norton's pure intensity and madness (although there would be very few actors who can).

Watched Transformers over the weekend - 9/10. Good direction by Michael Bay and CGI graphics are improving at a very quick rate and the soundtrack was great as well.

Don't watch many Indian films but did see Awarapan... and for an Indian film I thought it was quite different and the ending wasnt the usual. 8/10 for an Indian film.

Beerfest ... since people are giving rankings and some I don't understand I will rate it 8/10. maybe 7
It is not a family movie

just came back from the cinema and watched partner.
What a funny movie. Chota Don was the funniest :))
definetly recommend

yeah i heard it is but i havent seen hitch. the comedy was the main part of the movie really, not the storyline so i would definetly recommend just for comedy value.

Saw the Simpsons movie. Had its funny moments, and I was in that mood so it was worth it. Certainly funnier than the majority of Simpsons episodes I've seen for a good few years now

Saw Die Hard 4.0 on Friday, was unnecessary and predictable, can't wait for the Bourne Ultimatum.
