'Gumrah' 1993 (Sanjay Dutt, Sridevi, Rahul Roy, Anupam Kher)

It went all fine till the last ten minutes or so where one felt things were hurried into too quickly. If it was a matter of length then it could have been shortened had it been focussed on from the very beginning.

My rating:
5.5/10.

has to be one of the most boring movies ever.
 
Big Cruise fan here too. He gets too much s*** because of his personal life, he makes good, entertaining films. My favourites are Minority Report and The Last Samurai. Can't wait to watch MI4.

'Gol Maal' 1979

Nowhere seemed like a comedy film but the last 20 minutes or so really made it a face-saving effort. Despite that, it still remains an over-hyped film:26:. Utpul Dutt´s role was fabulous:)).

Memories of Matsuko - (2006) Story about sho who is sent by his dad to clean out his newly murdered aunties flat As he goes through her things and meets people she knew he gradually pieces together her eventful and tragic life

Full of satire, music and colour, this is a watchable but sad film Well acted and presented but a little too long id say - couldve done with a good 20 mins trim

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.

Was expecting a much more interesting development of Sherlock's character instead it disappointed.

It's not a bad movie, in fact a good way to spend a Saturday evening, however just didn't have that "extra something special" in it.

I like Robert Downey Junior, but his performance isn't as memorable as some of his performances in other movies and Jude Law was really disappointing too.

I give it 5/10.
 
Thoroughly enjoyed the new Sherlock Holmes. The Robert Jr - Jude L pair work wonders. There is a continuous flow of action and wit, never a dull moment. Guy Ritchie touches still there, especially the great slow mos. I walked in for an entertaining weekend evening and the movie delivered. 7/10
 
Mission Impossible, would give it 7.5 out of 10.

Worth a watch.

Oh and Anil Kapoor was a joke :)))

The Devil's Double

Pretty grim depiction of Uday Hussein. Wonder how much of it is sensationalised, but a decent concept nonetheless. I have a feeling they could have possibly explored the 'loss of identity' theme a lot better than they did.

I watched it few days ago. It was good movie but I don't know the history of Iraq whether it was based on true events or otherwise.

The film is an adaptation of william shakespeare´s masterpiece 'Othello', and is one of the best film ever I have seen.

I will give it 7.5 as 1.5 is extracted for the offensive, disgusting and abusive language used in it (Otherwise it deserves nine). What was the need of it? Luckily, I had a censored/edited version of it.

One of the best films in the last decade. I Donno why you had problem with the abusive language...I think the language actually created the atmosphere the film needed. People from that setting in real life actually speak like that ..if not much worse. Bollywood already suffers from too much censorship..I am glad they are actually allowing abusive language now.Every movie need not by watched with family or by kids. Saif Ali Khan gave a career best performance.....Ajay Devgan and Kareena were great. One way even Rahet Fateh ali Khan had a major break in bollywood through "Naina Thag Lenge"...some of live performances he gave for the song are just awesome.

A Few Good Men.

Gets quite complicated in the middle, and requires a lot of attention to grasp its content.

Yet a masterpiece. 7.5/10.
 
I watched The Muppets over the weekend. I loved the muppets when I was little so it was fun for me to watch this with my niece and nephew. The kids loved it and it's a pretty enjoyable movie if you were a muppets fan as a kid.

It´s a matter of opinion I guess. In my opinion the abusive language nowhere added anything positive to it. According to the reports, the film earned praise but kept away the large family audiences as they rather chose some other cheesy films to watch that year which were nowhere closed to it in comparison.

Look, at least six films in that top 10 deserved far less than 'Omkara' as it stays at the 14th spot only because family audiences avoided it.

Anyway, we can agree upon a disagree. You are most welcome to welcome abusive and vulgar language in films:).

Its like saying, 'Don ko dekhna mushkil nahin, na-mumkin hai'!

it released yesterday at Feltham, watched it in 3d. Be warned, nothing is 3d except the subtitles.

It was a good movie with a decent story and certainly a lot of class, but it just didnt have the feeling that Don usually has. He wasnt looking as powerful and arrogant as his usual self in this one, he was a 1 or 2 man Army!

Too Good For Indian Action Movie Standards.

In-fact on par with some of the best in hollywood.
 
DON 2 what movie. Absolutely awesome best sequel movie to be made. The way they carried the story over and SRK acting was just too good he was at his best and Boman Irani was good too. Easily the best movie of the year. Must watch movie everyone.

Don II ? Sounds interesting, anyway, if there's 'Farhan Akhtar' behind any production, there are great chances that the said prod will deserve mini. 8/10... he rarely comes up with bad stuff, à la Aamir Khan.

One who oscillates between two avatars -- Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible) and James Bond -- without losing out on his desi charisma.

Ghost Protocol - 9/10

Whattay movie man. I haven't watched a well made action film for ages. It was a great to watch this one for a change. Loved the humor in it too. Also, the lack of any romantic bakwaas was good too. :D One to watch again and again.


Tom Cruise doesn't look like he is nearing his fifties btw. :D
 
Tucker & Dale Vs Evil - (2011) Comedy horror about two best friends who are mistaken for murdering hillbillies by a group of college kids on a trip out in the woods Cue havoc, laughs and blood!

An excellent hilarious film, the lol moments come thick and fast and the two leads are the undoubted stars Some terriffic one lines, this will become a cult classic Cant fault much with this film, Very very good

Must watch

Just came back from the cinema. It was good entertaining movie and I will give it 7 out of 10. However, that Mask thing was weird. How come a man can change his face and voice? It doesn't happen in real life.

Yes, wasn't that bad with an interesting storyline and a clever ending.

Yet it got quite repetitive with the extra-ordinary surveillance schemes used throughout the movie. Specially how it was a one-sided affair throughout the 2 hours with the NSA always having a grip over their work. Its only the last 15 minutes where Will got the better of them.

Aye, i remember watching this in cinema when it first came out.
A good film but slightly overrated IMHO. I agree with your review.
 
Don 2 was sikk did any obe notice the number plate on the motorbike tht said Don 3 ryt at the end on that long bridge?

I liked it a lot - sort of a girl version of Fight Club.

Pointless Movie really. He does all that only to realise it was a dream.
No idea how it ended up so high in IMDB. (4/10).

i thought it was a good movie. rather overated but certainly worth a watch. i thought bale played his character brilliantly.
 
Control... movie about the British rock band Joy Division, and I just re-discovered Ian Curtis... 8/10
 
The Island. 7/10

Harvesting clones by the some company which will be using them to get their body parts incase the originals need it.
Clones are told lies about their environment and somehow few clones ( including scarlet :P ) escapes from their compound.
And rest of the movie is about hunting the clones back.

Movie is bit slow in the first half an hour but good in the second part.
