Epic stuff. Funniest of the four movies. James Bond and Han Solo in one movie = Cinematic Nirvana.

Before the Devil Knows You are Dead.

Very good and interesting story-line. Acting was also top notch specially Philip Seymour Hoffman was great in his role.

Drag me to Hell was a good throwback horror flick.

7.5/10
Enjoyable Hitchcockian thriller from Polanski. Great suspense and acting especially by Pierce Brosnan. The lead character is a bit stupid but the movie has a kickass ending. Worth watching.

man of steel was utter tripe

they ruined the comic and the new adventures of superman

the villain was a sham and reminded me of eminems step dad in 8 mile, russel crowe as the spirit of himself was like watching the film bhootbath and the relationship between lois lane and superman made me want to reach for the sick bucket as did the constant close ups of people and families every time superman professed to save the world.

World war Z , I enjoyed it. First Zombie/ infected movie that deals with what's happening globably

Also I actually enjoyed the ending, some hated it but I thought it was smart and orginal

7.5/10

One of the very few movies that I have saved in my laptop for future viewing. Great suspense, keeps you enthralled throughout its length.

This is the end - 7.5/10 a lowbrow comedy starring Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill,Michael Cera and some other actors all playing themselves. It also includes Kevin Hart, Aziz Ansari, Rihanna playing themselves for a bit and Emma Watson features too.

Really quite funny at times and nice to see these actors sending themselves up. Don't go into it expecting intellectual humour and you will come out with a smile on your face.

The Reef

Suspenseful Aussie shark flick- based on true events apparently. Worth a watch.

Man of Steel, 5.5/10

I can't reiterate enough how dissapointed i was after so much hype.

I've been watching Salma Hayek movies one after another today i watched Bandidas it was very good...8/10

House at the end of the street

A mother and daughter move to a new town and find themselves living next door to a house where a young girl murdered her parents. When the daughter befriends the surviving son, she learns the story is far from over.

A good script , with a good ending. A Mystery genre , enjoyable movie if you like that genre.

7.5 / 10

Watched a horror film called Mama.

It was ok, nothing special. Some parts were quite scary but others quite ridiculous.

6/10.

gangs of new york , great movie, watched bits before, never really knew what it was fully about before though

Seven Samurai - 9/10
Absolutely legendary . Easily one of the best movies ever made I cant believe I hadn't watched it before . It might be over 3 hours long and it's in black and white but seriously give it a watch .

World War Z

Enjoyed it. Better than expected. Im hoping for a sequel.

Man of Steel - 7.5/10

GAZILLION times better than Iron Man 3. First half was jumpy with story moving too fast. But, I liked the second half. Russell Crowe and Michael Shannon were damn good. Henry Cavill was good and at best evoked Christopher Reeve. Truly doesn't deserve the hate it's been getting. The action does go overboard, but I loved it.

The whole thing seems rushed to be honest. I wonder why it was delayed from the original Dec 2012 release- did they re-write the script? The second half is a total mess. Too much fake looking CGI and fast movements- the fight scenes are a blur. This should have been so much better.

The CGI was good. Better than the eye-gougingly bad CGI in Iron Man 3. It hurt the eyes for real. Plus, the 3D was superior as well. And for horrible shaky cam, look no further than The Bourne series. There was action fatigue I know but as a pure spectacle, it worked for me. Maybe, so many people bashing it made expectations lower and that helped. Also, Lois already knowing Clark was a little bit of a problem. The movie is flawed but it's not terrible. Iron Man 3 was terrible. Besides, Superman's first flight scene was a true masterpiece.

Isn't jaime lannister in it ?

Also in regards to Man of Steel, I foud World War Z to a lot better. Never like superman, had a feeling this might change my perceptions but it failed remarkably

yup he was.. i still havent watched man of steel and wwz yet..

Seen a few lately

Silver Linings Playbook
The Impossible
Flight
Ten
Samsara
The Hunt
Snow White and the Huntsman
Monsieur Lazhar

Samsara was visually stunning, a beautiful non verbal film projecting powerful images from around the world -some though may get bored with it after a while, the standout film was The Hunt with the brilliant Mads Mikkelsen who is falsely accused on child abuse A top notch film beautifully crafted

The Flight was a good entertaning watch too with D Washington who was superb as the alcoholic in denial. The Impossible shouldve been a better film, supposedly based on a real story it dragged in parts and just seemed too glossy and a lot of the scenes just didnt seem like they would occur. The most dissapointing film was Ten for me personally, it was both interesting and turgid at the same time - filmed in a car its concept was something i was looking forward too but the film failed to hold my attention and was just not interesting enough tbh

Not as good as the original but highly watchable. A great horror film to watch with your friends with a pack of beer. Extremely violent and the last 15 minutes involve a literal rain of blood. Not as scary as I had hoped for, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. Highly recommended for horror fans and gorehounds.

I watched This Is The End last night, great laugh. All the best hollywood comedy actors in the same film playing themselves in real life. I would definitely put it up their with one of the strangest films i have ever seen.

would give it a 8/10

Evil Dead (2013) was good......not too scary and nothing new.

Can't expect much from horror movies anymore....

Olympus Has Fallen - 6.5/10

Embarrassingly patriotic propaganda but good action and I liked that it was truly violent with blood spurting around. The villain was effective and Gerard Butler did a great job. Needed more Morgan Freeman though.

Jolly LLB - 8/10 - Comedy with a pretty decent storyline and acting.
Raanghanaa - 8/10 - Made with a lot of complex themes, surprisingly good.
Lootera - 10/10 - The most real and powerful romance drama I've seen come from Bollywood so far. Amazing music score and acting.

Now getting into full hype mode for Pacific Rim. Guaranteed to be the movie of the year 2013.

White House Down. 7/10, not as bad as it looked. Pretty solid plot, comedy in the right parts. Jamie Foxx had the Obama cadence down very well.

Man of Steel. Probably the best action scenes I have seen since... Forever. Amazing. Too bad about Crowe ruining the movie.

recommend as per you own likings ..now c'mon let's get started...i will choose the best:ahmed

superbad
fightclub
limitless
seven pounds
pursuit of happiness
yes man
ill manors
