First half was funny and entertaining. Despite the good acting of Shahrukh Khan and Deepika there is nothing much in the movie. Just watch it if you want some laugh.
 
Black Book. Much better than I expected, with nice twists along the way and Melissandre (from GoT) is magnificient.

Agree with that...
Watched it last night and wasn't too convinced. This movie would've been a financial disaster without the presence of a superstar!

This is NOT a shahruk Khan movie , It is a Rohit shetty Movie. :)

Most of the movie was fun , good time pass. Not too much of a plot ........ basically a one line idea , developed with scree play.

Climax could have been better. Still it was okay .

Deepika looked pretty .

It was okay, nothing really special and definitely below expectation for me. The best part for me was the after credits scene.

The funniest movie I've seen since Pineapple Express.
 
saw trance, pretty average flick to be honest, id give it a 6/10, but im complelled to give it a 7/10 that extra point being for rasario dawson's body, never seen her go full frontal in a film before, was definitely pleasently surprised. obviously not one to watch with your parents.
 
The Conjuring

Not out & out scary but a brilliant movie overall. One of the best haunted house/posession movies.

pacific rim - honestly this was (imo) rubbish, guilhermo generally makes really good films, but this was awful - its like power rangers. 2/10

hangover 3 - again poor, first one really enjoyed , part 2&3- boring. 3/10

mama - another guilhermo film, really enjoyed this, scared me a bit in few scenes, only downside was its ending- wasn't as good as rest of film- 8.5/10


Has anyone watched a film called RAID, British director but made (cast) Indonesia, brilliant film, especially cost very little - saw this 1 yr ago , thought worth a mention... 9/10:

Chennai Express. A typical Rohit Shetty entertainer that is good enough for a one time watch. Happy that the movie is doing so well. SRK has rightly reclaimed the number one position with this one that he gave up to Aamir Khan in 2008 and that Salman Khan has held since 2010.

Just seen the first Paranormal Activity, incredibly boring with some decent scares.

Found the male character incredibly annoying and almost wanted the demon to kick his a$$

Cookie cutter slasher movie saved by some legitimate suspense, competent direction and remarkably gory scenes.

Warning: Do NOT show this movie to pregnant women. There is a scene which can be actually traumatic for them.

A movie about group of Teen aged school students in India.

There problems and issues. How they cope with the realities of the life.

The idea of the movie is good. Screen play is weak. Its slow at times.

Pitch black comedy about a trio of unbelievably stupid bodybuilders who turn to a life of crime to get rich. Based on a true story. Marky Mark and Anthony Mackie were great. But The Rock was very surprising as the more moral/gullible of the group. When I was watching him, I kept thinking it's Paul Doyle not The Rock/Dwayne Johnson. It was good to see Ed Harris as probably the only logical and sane character in the whole damn movie. Good to see the protagonists portrayed as moronic and unsympathetic criminals rather than anti-heroes.

A found footage horror film about how we screw up our environment resulting in our downfall. Not so much scary as it is disturbing. Gross violent scenes and some jump scares are there though. The incompetence and idiocy of the higher authorities in terms of trying to mitigate the problem created also makes you angry. Very good film and worth watching. Just don't go expecting a pure scary horror film. More like an ecological faux-documentary that has a few scares and a lot of disgusting gore and violence. A pessimistic counterpart to Soderbergh's Contagion.

A teacher lives a lonely life, all the while struggling over his son's custody. His life slowly gets better as he finds love and receives good news from his son, but his new luck is about to be brutally shattered by an innocent little lie.

It was my very first non English movie and it turned out to be a great one. Acting was just excellent so was the story and cinematography.
