What's new

What was the last thing you ate?

channa ke dahl halva and some watermelon slices and kofta biryani etc

crunchy nut chocolate curls cereal, chai, sushi etc are somethings I have ate today. My first fast will probably be Friday because I have had an awful cold

ive had lots of food. For example, on saturday night I had roast lamb with potatoes, carrots, gravy, rice etc so nice.

Iftar is a few hours away still but I am hopefully going to eat spring rolls, samosas etc. Fasting is hard on days where the weather is like this.

Aam. Not force-fed while watching Ghalib film though.

i had farfar for iftar yesterday, that snack you fry. I forgot they existed and then remembered it like last week and had a craving since. Also had pastry with sikh keebab in it

I had chole bature at a roadside stall. For just 15 rupees. There was a cow which would come and lick your plates after you had left. Of course, the plates would be cleaned after that. I liked that no one would shoo the cow away, and man and animal would be eating at the same table. There were also a few dogs, trying to look their innocent best and melt your heart. They would look at you with such expectation just when you were going to put a piece in your mouth, that you would feel guilty, and throw a piece at them. Always feels good when you share your food.

Sponge-gourd and onion curry. Very easy to make. Add lentils, red whole chilly, lots of onions and lots of the gourd is just a spoon of oil and let it cook (of course, salt to taste and turmeric if you want color). No need to add water. come back to PP and when you have read all the new posts, go back and the curry is ready.

I take back this post.

I had put potatoes to boil and was active on PP for half an hour. Now my kitchen is full of smoke, potatoes have turned to soot, and the utensil has spots.

Note to self: Never login on PP while cooking.
