Half Peri Peri Chicken, Fries, Spicy Rice and a Diet Pepsi. Went for the healthy option today.Big Mac KingKhanWC Pepe's is too expensive

Mate, i have a pepes at least twice a week...I normally go for the half chicken too or sometimes the chicken fillet burger. The one I go to give me a loyalty card, after 6 visits I get free half a chicken! Try that![]()
I ordered for everyone this time and the cost was quiet a bit but they came on time and the food was good still. I should do the sameI only have a loyalty card with hand made burger, they gave it to me and a 2 for 1 deal after they made a minor error by giving me my desert a little late
My favourite is the chicken and rice, believe it or not but had not tried the half chicken until today from Pepe; it was quiet nice, very high quality. The Chicken tasca is pretty decent as well
Yep the chicken is quality and i like the peri peri seasoning too. The loyalty card if for collection and i prefer to collect as the food is ready within 10-15 mins but delivery to my house takes over an hour!
I'm really trying to eat healthy but there is no take out which is good for athletes. I wish somebody would come up with a place which is high in protein and low in fat.
I live near the prison so the delivery doesn't take too long, tbh the standard wait can be close to an hour but today I ordered a fair amount so perhaps that's why they prioritised my order and they came like within 35 minutes on a friday! I would go to pick it up but am not good at parallel parking![]()
Very good point tbh Pepe is the best healthy option out there when it comes to takeaways so you can understand their price to a certain extent because they know there's not much competition out there and they've established their brand, there's another place called Tahini Grill on dudley road which you'd like but they don't do online orders so you have to collect the food.
And more recently, this place I think you'd love on mosely road especially if you want to go out for a meal and it is probably a lot more in line with what you're looking for. They market their food to folk who train frequently, it's callled gymm's (see what they did there). Not been there yet but I've heard good things.
At the moment they're out of me budget so I only go for such options here and thereinshallah I find a job soon

What? That's bare protein right there.
Ive drove past this Gymms place many times but never thought it could be healthy option fitness people. I;ve looked at the pictures on their fb page and it does look like good quality food. It's really frustrating when you work out hard but go home and eat something really unhealthy, kind of ruins all the good work. Yesterday I spent 1 hour boxing after a workout but ended up eating pizza because I cannot cook
Inshallah bro, you will get a job soon.
I had football this evening so I went for the healthy option in doner meat and chips from Big Johns.![]()
lmao you deserved it Biggie
They tend to give nutritional info as well on their products like how much protein, carbs and fats are in their items. I might check it out soon and will let you know if they're any good.
lmao I did the same, worked out for 2 hours few days ago and then ate 6 fried chickens wings and fries) tbh bro cooking is not too bad like watch some video's and just try to get into that habbit but the main issue for me has been it's such a long thing
but I've had a lot of exams and stuff at the same time but should get into more of a routine to, because eating healthy can actually be very productive from a financial stand point as well contrary to popular belief.
Like look how much we spend at Pepe's for a half chicken meal for about 7.50, for the same price you could probably buy 2kg of chicken breast, you could probably get about 7 meals out of that. Cook brown or white rice, add some vegetables and then the chicken breast; obviously the meal would be more heavy on vegetables/breast then rice but still add rice which can still be a decent carb when portions are controlled. Cook everything in one go and freeze the remaining meals so you can just eat them whenever you like because ordering or making something every day can be time consuming / expensive. I use to do that but have stopped lol need to start again and get rid of my homer simpsons tid. Do you go to a boxing gym or the boxercise in the gym
I would love to cook but I am just really bad at it. I dont have the patience to prepare all the food and then spend time cooking it only to be eaten in 10 mins! lol.. It's got to the point most of the take aways know my number when I call and say hello by using my name before I even say anything. I try to limit it now to a few times a week and try to eat grilled food.
But this is the donner, extra cheese, pineapple pizza I was talking about before.

I used to train properly, sparring and get some coaching from a couple of friends but now I just use the boxing equipment in the gym to maintain some skills. I spend half an hour on heavy bags and then do work on the speedball.
