What's new

What was the last thing you ate?

Surely they must have it in Canada Bro

Thanks.

I have never seen it anywhere. Maybe it is only sold in some specific stores. I may have to check on Google.

Green Tea meant to be very good for the immune system?

Yes. It is very healthy to drink green tea. I drink it often.

I generally drink it at night. Right before going to bed. It doesn't affect sleep as it doesn't have much caffeine.

I actually find green tea helpful for my sleep.

After doing cardio for 52 minutes, here is my dinner: :inti

2 crossaints with tuna and mayonnaise inside
Mac & cheese
Persimmon fruit
1 mug of milk

:inti

Khichri + fried eggs + mashed dried peppers and onions.

Sweet potatoes.

Kashmiri tea. :inti

My dad is 67 years old. I gave him some Kashmiri tea today. He apparently never tried this tea before. He also didn't know it was a thing. :yk

Anyway, he loved the tea.

Here is how to make Tibetan butter tea: :inti

Ingredients:
Tea leaves
Butter
Milk
Salt

@aboveandbeyond, I made Tibetan butter tea today.

This is the first time I have tried Tibetan butter tea. It actually tastes pretty unique. I want to make it often moving forward. :inti

Anyway, here is how it looks like (it looks a bit yellow-ish):

I’m sure I’ve had that curry in last few months or something if not last few years

Looked exactly the same from what I recall but had a specific name outside of just shrimp curry.

Can’t remember it rn

Nice.

I love shrimp. But, it is very high in cholesterol. So, I have to watch.

About a decade ago, I was in university dorm for 2 years (I did 2 years at campus and rest online). During my dorm days, I used to order shrimp biryani frequently from a local store. It was very good.

@Suleiman

I made this tea yesterday. It is called "Tibetan Butter Tea". It is a common drink in Tibet.

I actually loved it. It tastes creamy. Addition of small salt gives it an extra kick.

I may make it more during really cold days. It warmed me up yesterday. :inti

Best enjoyed in the cold.

Nice.

I ran out of Kashmiri teas. I bought 2 boxes (each box has 10 packages; 1 package = 1 cup). I finished all in 2 weeks. Need to buy again. :inti

Am glad you found out about Kashmiri chai, been having it every winter since I was 5. Get it in Karachi everywhere even at ice cream stores in small styrofoam cups.

Kashmiri tea is unknown in Bangladesh. Bangladeshis don't drink this. My 67-year old dad never heard of it until yesterday (I shared some with him). He actually loved Kashmiri tea. He said it was very good. My mom has also never tried it until I shared with her.

Before 2025, I have also never drunk any Kashmiri tea. I recently started to drink it. I am now hooked. It has now become one of my favorite teas.

Nice man. Are you not doing Intermittent fasting any longer?

Nice man. Are you not doing Intermittent fasting any longer?

Yes. I do intermittent fasting since 2021. :inti

But, in the middle (2023-2024), I was a bit sloppy. So, I ended up gaining weight in that period.

2021-2023 --> I went from 215 pounds to 155 pounds.
2023-2024 --> I gained all those weights back. LOL. I became 213 pounds again.
2024-Present --> I managed to bring my weight down to 193 pounds again.

So, it has been a rollercoaster ride. Anyway, I hope to return to 160 pounds with the help of intermittent fasting and cardio. I am currently 194 pounds. Let's see how it goes.
