I always wonder why he is so successful

From mediocre player to becoming one the greatest cricketer, bowler, allrounder and a legendary captain of Pakistan.

Built 3 cancer hospitals to treat poor people for free when everyone thought it's impossible in a country like Pakistan.

Started his politics in 1996 as a one man party and now after 22 years og struggle he is party is going to rule Pakistan and he is going to be Prime Minister.

Breaking the status-quo. Made PPP irrelevant and who had thought Sharifs will be in jail?

Legendary captain: Took hard decisions. Kept his faith in Inzi, 2Ws and himself.

Cancer hospitals: He was very hurt after his mother's death. The fact that they had to travel outside Pakistan for cancer treatment impacted him. So, he used his fame and connections to get finances from all around the world and built these hospitals.

Politics: Don't forget he was physically assaulted by goons and bled on camera but he kept on and on...

That there is a self made man, who used all that Lord blessed him with to his best capacity and maintained discipline.

Hard work and persistence. I have been an Imran Khan supporter for approx 12 years and I am tired. The guy himself has been at it for 22 years. No other national leader (past or present) has had to go through this much.

ZAB was foreign minister during Ayub Khans time and 2 years after that was able to become PM.

Nawaz born in the hands of General Zia.

Benazir was ZABs daughter.

He is self made as politician. Pakistan is lucky that they will be getting such a hard working guy as their PM.

He is not a miracle worker, but he deserves credit for his ambition and dedication. He has used his popularity and success as a cricketer to good use instead of taking the easy route and getting involved in coaching, commentary etc.

That's a very simplistic way to look at things and understandable as well as it's your job being a critic. Amazing how same people would consider Zulfiqar Bhutto as greatest leader after Mr Jinnah despite knowing his affiliation with Ayub Khan.

I wasn't even born when Bhutto was killed by Zia and not even my distant relatives supported Bhutto (in fact most around me were Zia admirers). Since then i have learnt Bhutto was indeed one of our greatest and Zia was one of worst things that happened to us.

But if i use your glasses to judge people then i would just consider Bhutto as Dictator's right hand who was greedy for power and broke Pakistan.

Imran's political life is full of struggles, determination, honest intentions and not short cuts and personal greed for power

I have come across so many highly qualified, intelligent people who i thought would set the world on fire and they had the capability as well but they couldn't even run a Pakistan association due to criticism, infighting and accusations.

I wanted Imran Khan to leave Pakistan and patch up with Jamima so he could enjoy his life with his kids but i just don't understand what kept him going for such a long time where he lost his married life, family, personal attacks, blackmailing & NO PERSONAL BENEFITS.
