Just finished watching Sri Lanka vs Australia match. In my opinion Stoinis's inning is the best of this tournament so far. Which is your favorite inning in this world cup so far? You can update your favorite as the tournament progresses. :inti

Stoinis' knock was good . But considering conditions, quality of bowling attack etc. I think Kohli's knock was better.

He smashed hard length balls on a pitch where Bobby struggled and Kohli was facing the best T20 attack in the world.

For sheer impact though, Finn Allen 42 off 16 remains the best.

We have fallen apart too many times to consider this as the best T20 attack in the world, sorry. South Africa is miles ahead of every team as a bowling attack in this World Cup.

On topic, Virat’s innings is an ATG knock. Nothing comes nor will come close this World Cup.

92000 people breathing down his back, Sustained performance pressure for 2 yrs, people witing to sack him from the team, team collapses 31-4 playing archrivals & then he delivers this classic. Hell yeah, Kohli’s knock was one of the ATG of the games.

Stoinis’s was great as well, but also against a team that barely qualified & on a home pitch.

Kohli's innings has been the best one so far.

Kohli faced a high quality Pakistani bowling attack.

1) VK
2) VK
3) VK
...

then the rest

Seriously Stoinis hitting was more like the bashing a dead snake. Maxwell already inflicted some damage. He just cashed in. I would put Finn Allen's WT20 debut innings ahead. Australia didn't know what hit them. A team that never won in Australia for 11 years in any format trounced them. Big part of Finn Allen's innings.

This shouldn't even be a question at the moment Kohli Innings was a masterclass against a very good bowling line up.

Definitely Kohli.

Only those with personal liking towards Stoinis or for below two reasons will pick him as the best knock or favourite knock of the tournament:

1. He credited IPL for his success vs spin in post match conference.

2. He called one of the Pakistani fast bowlers as chucker.

I didn't knew inspite of these reasons, BVB decided to pick Stoinis knock as his favourite ahead of Kohli, Allen, Conway, Masood etc :inti

Good thread by OP as usual :kp

I am not following all the games this world cup as travelling but whatever games I have seen:

1. Kohli
2. Stoinis
3. Allen
4. Pandya
5. Iftikhar

It seems you are really not following this world cup otherwise you would have not put Pandya, Iftikhar above Devon Conway. :inti

Finn Allen. He just ruined the Aussie party and turned the world cup on it's head. NZ win after a decade against Aussies in AUS and the three Aussie speedsters had nowhere to hide. Set the tone for the WC.

Second is obviously Kohli. Stoinis edged a bunch of fours and muscled a few and is the third best. Probably saved Aussies.

Finn Allen is the 1992 Astle

Kohli's innings was the best and i dont think we'll see a better innings in this tournament. But was it my favourite? 😝

SKY's innings versus South Africa today? Saved India from a major embarrassment (ok they lost but could have been worse)

Suryakumar Yadav gave yet another reminder of why he is regarded as the world's best T20I batter at the moment with an incredible knock of 68 in just 40 balls against South Africa at the Optus Stadium in Perth. Suryakumar helped India put a total of 133 on the board after winning the toss.

Suryakumar hit six boundaries and three sixes in his incredible knock. The Indian number four batter took charge of the innings after the Men in Blue's top-order collapsed as they lost five wickets within nine overs. Lungi Ngidi who replaced Tabraiz Shamsi in the playing XI for this game wreaked havoc by taking four-wickets by dismissing KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Hardik Pandya.

Ex-Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir reserved big praise for Suryakumar Yadav and called it the best innings ever by an Indian in T20I history.

"There have been a lot of innings that have been played in the past. People have scored hundreds, he himself has got a hundred for India. It can’t get better than this, it can’t get tougher than this. Whether it’s the conditions or the bowling, India were 50 for 5, from there on, if he can get 60 odd from 40 balls on this type of pitch, I have not seen a better knock than this. This probably is the best T20I innings played by an Indian," Gambhir said on Star Sports in the mid-innings show.

Litton Das played the most impactful innings of the tournament today. Litton's impact rating by Cricviz is +43 for this knock.

Stoinis, Rossuow, Allen, SKY, Philipps - nobody has crossed a rating of +38 I believe.

Best knock of the tournament.

How is nobody picking Glenn Philips?
Both his century and his 62(36) vs Eng are absolutely killer knocks.
He is the impact batter of the tournament so far

Liton's innings was hard to ignore.
His fluent classic strokeplay was pleasant to watch 👍🏻
Definitely one of the knocks of tournament

Rizwan vs India. The number of times he got bat on ball and smashed trundler Bhuvi was a treat to watch :inti

Shadab's 52(22) is right up there. Came in when Pakistan were 95/5 and took them to a match winning total. :inti

:))

Your recent love for an apparently declining Kohli (which was similar to your love for Dhoni when he'd started to become a burden to the Indian team), seems to have been knocked out by Virat's ATG performance vs Pakistan.

lol keep 'em coming :usman

Once again a dumb post by you to seek attention. This thread is not about me. Stay on topic for once. Thanks. :inti
