T20 is not the format to have a non-playing captain neither does the formal require much strategy either. And unlike Kohli who still has age on his side (somewhat!), Rohit is basically a deadweight. But then that is good for other teams, I guess

Rohit is strategically is ahead of almost everyone else. Pant and KL Rahul both were inept when it comes to captaincy. Bumrah is not a captaincy materia as we saw from the one off Test match against England. Only other option is Pandya who just has to prove long enough without injuries.

India have better players on bench. What they pick will cost them. It is india C.

SKY earned his spot. But in terms of form there are many better Indian players. Most of the current side was picked purely based on reputation. In T20 you just have to be good enough for 3 or 4 overs. So form players should be given preference. You don't have to be technically sound. You cannot eat balls to find your form in T20.

I hope I'm wrong but I think Dahani's injury is a critical loss. In both the games, our bowling kept up relentless pressure and Dahani was a major reason.
