For me that would be Pakistan and England. I don't want another india and pak final as that has already happened in 2017. It just makes it less interesting. We haven't had a pak vs eng final since the 1992 WC. Also the format of the 2019 wc is the same as the one used in 1992 so the memories are there.

Pakistan vs England is the one that I think will happen, BTW who wouldn't want a Pak-Indo clash as a WC Final when these teams hardly play against each other, all throughout the year?

Most people don't agree with what i said but the best possible result has already happened for pakistani fans. Pak beat Ind in an icc event by 180 runs. Nothing can top that. So the enthusiasm dies off a bit. But that's probably just me so doesn't matter. But i am still very interested in the group stage match coz of the streak india is holding.

I like choosing wild card picks for these tournaments, but when you think about it, how wild can it get? Everyone faces everyone, so you can't ride your luck like previous editions. You're gonna have to be relatively consistent against everyone, and I think these two sides will be.

If India sort out their middle order problems, and if Kohli finally has his long time coming WC form, then it will be India vs England with winner of the match depending 1000% on who wins the toss and type of pitch. If it's a batting pitch, England will win the shoot-out, and I'd give it to them 60-40. Only 60 because of the pressure of a final, which India doesn't really falter under. If it has anything for spinners like most ODI pitches these days, it's going to be 75-25 India.
