If by selfish you mean someone who stretched their career longer than they should have, even when it was clear they were past their best and blocking opportunities for youngsters, then Afridi and Sachin fit that definition.
But if selfish means a player who tries to face as many balls as possible, farms the strike with last-ball singles, burns DRS on obvious LBWs, prefers flat pitches to pad personal stats, and puts personal milestones above the team, then there’s only one name that comes to mind.
