Jaydev Unadkat released from India’s squad for 2nd Test
The All-India Senior Selection Committee in consultation with the Indian team management has decided to release Jaydev Unadkat from India’s squad for the 2nd Test of the Mastercard Australia tour of India for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Jaydev will now join the Saurashtra squad, which qualified for the Mastercard Ranji Trophy final to be played against Bengal from 16th February at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

As most predicted, Aussies barely even in the series. I predicted 3-0, I hope the Aussies can eke out a draw somewhere to prove me right.

India have dominated Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy so far. After easy wins in the first two Tests, which the hosts achieved in less than three days on both occasions, the third Test starts in Indore on March 1. The Australian team has been dealt with several blows owing to injuries while their regular captain Pat Cummins too will not be available for the third Test as he has gone back home due to his mother's illness. Amidst this, former India captain and ex-BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has predicted that Australia will be clean-sweep.
"I see 4-0. It will be hard for Australia to beat India. In these conditions, we are a far superior team," Ganguly was quoted as saying to Rev Sportz.
Meanwhile, citing Mike Tyson, Australian great Greg Chappell has slammed the team's forgettable performance in the first two Tests against India, saying the visitors "punched themselves in the mouth long before the first ball was even bowled".
Australia have already conceded the Border-Gavaskar Trophy after being hammered in the first two Tests of the four-match series, both games ending under three days and prompting sharp reactions from the country's former cricketers.
"It was Mike Tyson who said in the lead-up to a fight with Evander Holyfield: Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.
"My concern after watching the first two Tests is that the Australian team punched themselves in the mouth long before the first ball was even bowled," Chappell wrote in the Sydney Morning Herald.
He has also questioned Australia's planning for the ongoing tour of the country.
"It is one thing to plan, but to base that plan on a flawed premise is an exercise in futility," he added.

Those were some pretty miserable batting collapses from Australia in the opening two Tests.
Though not entirely unexpected. Australia have good batters but they seem to experience a weird mental block in Indian conditions. Every team has its bogey side.

In India, Indian team starts as favourites against any other team. So the term "bogey" is not correct.
That's correct.
England despite winning the first test in last series, lost next 3 comfortably despite winning all 2/3 tosses.
It's not just about India being bogey team to Australia.

Aus top order is not much different than Indian top order.
It's the 3 spin Indian all rounders. That's a huge factor and any opposition will struggle to match that. They have taken game away with bat and ball.

Australia really needed preparations , they've been self destructive , clumsy , timid and lacking the killing instinct the entire series and thus got washed in first two tests , looked like a completely different team in third test.

Considering his poor technique, it was always expected that he would struggle as he becomes older.
He depends on hand-eye coordination. That declines with age.
